Should have had more NEO! Smile

i hate when people blow on the matrix.

not only do you have to be smart in order to understand the matrix movies, you also need to know, philosophy, metaphysics and religion.

once you understand the full extent of the matrix story, you then see why the matrix is not only visualy appealing, but also mentaly pleasing.

the matrix series are the most brilliant movies made so far in history. in my opinion.

i personly hate it when people said that the second one, for instance, was un-original.... HELLO ? PEOPLE! its a sequal! its supposed to follow the story....

people like that annoy me...

anyway.... getting back on topic.

m3 in my opinion is as good as the second one in every detail. but of course... i think the second matrix out classes the first one, not by much, but in general. i mean, obviously the first one was a mildstone in the movie industry but if the story of the second one was understood completely, then you would see how much better it is.

all people who know me in real life and people i met online do not doubt my exctencive knowlage on the structure of the movies, thier stories and their back-stories. there has never been a time when i have not answered a question that was given to me. i hope to stay with this forum for a very long time and move up in its ranks Cool

i realize this should have gone in the introduction topic but once i get started.... well.... lol

Personally I was disappointed. And then after the initial disappointment, I was upset with myself for not liking it.. because I had been such a huge Matrix fan after the first two. But the third movie just didn't do it for me like the first two did. Sure, the visuals were amazing and I was loving it as I watched it.. but I didn't walk away thinking like I did with the other two.

Ah. Revolutions had it's dissapointments. But it was still Okay. The last fight scene between Neo and Smith could've been better.

I'm glad that the Wachowski's didn't touch the MWAM theory.

I'm glad that there was no real, "conclusion" per se. But overall, it was decent.

I do not believe that you need to be smart to "get" the Matrix. I also do not believe that having a wide understanding of Religeon, Metaphysics, Philosophy, or whatever would make one enjoy it more. Although it might.

People hated Revolutions because it seemed to be mostly action and not so great on intellectual study. People hated Reloaded because it had too much "banter" and was boring and confusing. I think they are much more enjoyable if you imagine them as one film.

This is word to word EXACTLY how I felt, its like you typed it for me, when i walked out I was confused, not by the movie but by my feelings towards this one, because when I saw 1 and 2 I left with the biggest smile on my face and was just amazed how great they were. No saying this is bad by any means but as many said, I would have liked more answers, more of Neo, Trinity and Morpheus and probably The Matrix, but I can understand that this was more about the machines and Zion.

Whether or not the Matrix you like the Matrix is irrelevant.

However, thinking it sucks because it smells like butt and not liking it because of a valid reason are two different matters entirely.

Great minds think alike...This is sure a pathetic reason for not liking Revs..

I, on the other hand loved Revolutions, it answered most of my questions and Smith was TRULY AWESOME... However, this was inevitable... Cool

I was a little disappointed the first time I saw Revolutions. Well, I just saw Rev for the second time (last night) and I STILL have questions. Many of them have been asked here, but none of them answered. Chalk me up as one of the 'stupid' peole who just doesn't get it.

Maybe if I see it a third time...

This is the first time in forever that i post-replied, but anyways, I really liked revolutions. I'm just confused about one thing:

Is Neo in another coma?

After all, everyone who has been cloned into Smith has returned to their normal selves. I think Neo did the same thing. I'm not sure though.
Possibly, he was just in another coma, cuz he's trapped in the matrix, and the machines are taking care of [his body].

Oh yes. Must i say that everyone has their own oppinion about things. I liked it, and i do get annoyed when people around me go 'Trinity took to long to die' and 'that movie wuz boring as hell'. but i have to point out: how can things be improved if there is no criticism?

oh yeah, one more thing. In the end of revolutions i recall the little girl saying 'will we see neo again' and the oracle replies 'perhaps' or something like that. i'll have to watch it again. So maybe we will see neo again.

Those who hated Revolutions or thought the others where better merely didn't understand it. All those people who think "Ya Mum" jokes are funny.

Well..... here I am.

Those who hated Revolutions realized that there is nothing to understand.

The ending was vague for the sake of vagueness, forcing people to "read into it" so to speak. Though vagueness can provoke thought, it does not make the movie good. A clear sense of direction would have helped the movie tremendously.

Those who liked/loved Matrix Revolutions realised that there is no Spoon. And I quote Robbie Williams "let me entertain you". Which, I wager, was the purpose of cinema in the first place.

If you want to read stuff into other stuff read something heavy (Nietsche or Kant perhaps) and start from there. 3Tooth

I thought I ____ write a _____ for all of you that liked The _____ Revolutions. I thought ____ _____ __ not ___ bad___. But it______ and then it dawned _____ me. ______ to____ for_____ right?

But my real ________ is this. Do you _____ like this ____? If ____ do you ___ stupid.

I'm sure___ who liked Revolutions will ______ this.

Thanks ___

Revolutions sucked for the same reason you were getting ready to tell me this post was stupid. Cause it left to many things unaswered and made no sense.

Only two things are infinite, the universe and man's stupidity. I'm not so sure about the first.
