What was the best manifestation of brutality?

The battle at the chateau of the mervingian is the best I have ever seen.

The best scene is surely the scene with all the agents smith... it's the best i've seen yet

come on, a sord fight in the matrix? does it get much better? (ok so they use a lot more than just sords.)

It's spelt sword. But any way most of those scenes listed like "Smith vs. Bane" aren't even fight scenes. The highway scene was great but not really a fight scene, but Morpheus fighting an agent on the truck was. The Burly Brawl scene was easily the best(Neo vs. Smith.)

yeah... tea house fight ( that was in a tea house ?).. oh well, i didn't know it was a tea house...just looked like a really tradidional chinese restaurant of some sort.. oops, sorry!

the fight between neo and seraph shoulda been extended, cuz i just love it that neo had been flying and stopping bullets and all this crap, then he settles to pure good ol martial arts. the purity of it, one on one without interference, is just awesome

The best fight had to be the chatue fight. The main reason why is because there was no stupid CGI. In the making of the matrix, the crew talked about how important it was for the matrix cast to do all like there own fight scenes. My question is, what happened to that mentality when they decided to do the sequeals? I would have chose the burly brawl but i totally lose intrest when Neo turns CGI.

Deffinitely the fight between Seraph and Neo. It's like a dance... so cool.

The best clash is obviously the agent versus trinity in mid-air. There wasn't gonna be a much better start to the movie. I have to say when I saw trinity fly out of that window shooting at that agent I was speechless. It was incredible. And those bullet shots like a drumbeat. Amazing stuff! Reeeeally coool....

Chateau fight is the best. it wasn't too long or too short. Plus my fav song "Chateau" by Rob D. was playing during that sequence.
Burly Braw was too long and it looked too much like a video game at one point.

I loved the fight between Morpheus and the twins with the sword, they should've had a really long fight, would've been deadly, the morpheus-agent fight was also cool, but it was a bit slow and the shaking of the truck was a bit annoying, a few of the ones aren't fights either, persephone v cain(or abel, whicever) and Smith-Bane. The burly brawl was also deadly, my fave bit was when he picks the pole out of the ground and smacks the smith right in the chest, knocking him over. Car chase scene obviously fantastic, gripping stuff, but not quite a fight, for that reason, I have picked(drum roll) the chateau, the weapons, loads of fighters, but not too many, lengthy but not over-indulgent, just fantastic.

i agree that a longer fight scene wit Morpheus an the twins usin that sword wud be amazin, but my fave fight scene was with the Merivingians henchmen in the chateau.
obviously i loved all the fights like the burly brawl, but i wished that Seraph would have a longer fight, as i think hes the one of the best characters in the matrix.
i have to say also that the matrix soundtracks album rocks, especially the burly brawl an chateau.cool

the highway chase scene lasts fifteen munites. (it said so on fox news at 6) it is also the longest car chase in any movie. it is also the most kick ass scene in the movie.

Regarding action sequences, for me it goes something like this:

1. Highway Scene
2. Burly Brawl
3. Chateau scene

Burly Brawl then the Chateau scene.

Burly Brawl was an awesome scene. I especially like the part with the "lady" with the bag of groceries.

"Lady" drops groceries and turns into Agent Thompson
Agent Thompson turns around to face Agent Smith
Agent Thompson: You!
Agent Smith: Yes, me.
Agent Smith turns Thompson into an Agent Smith copy
Agent Smith: Me... Me... Me…
Agent Smith Copy: Me too.


My only complaint about Burly Brawl was that... Agent Smith didn't win. But of course, it always disappoints me when Smith doesn't win.

I enjoyed the burly brawl yes. But it was not my favorite. Mainly because it was cg. My vote went for the chateau battle with neo and the merovingians programs. That was greatly choreographed and in my eyes was over 3 times better than the burly brawl

right on... chateau fight over burly brawl anyday! i enjoyed the burly brawl too.. and i mean nobody's ever put together a fight scene like that before - it was a great technical scene.. but on choreography and martial arts, the chateau fight dicked all over the burly brawl i have to say.

my favorite fight scene was between morpheous and the agent on top of the semi... too bad that wasnt a choice

The Chateau fight. While I found the Burly Brawl fight really good, I just found it a bit repetitive... and the way they are all so weak :/

The Chateau fight was the fight in Reloaded which left me speechless... wonderful use of weapons, and opponents which actually stood a chance of more than 1/1000.

the burly brawl takes the cake but the cheatue takes second....
