Why the machines still use the humans if the high part of the sky is clear?

Remember in Revolutions when the sentinels fell off of the Logos one by one as it got higher? It seems, for some reason, they can't go very high, even in the blackened area. One of my friends said he thought he saw why in The Animatrix. He thought he saw little, tiny machines released when the bombs were set off to darken the sky. Maybe they keep the sentinels and such at bay with electricity or something. I dunno.

yes, it is...the Blackened Sky isn't just cover keeping sunlight out, it's aso a barrier of electrical disturbance.

but if the machine are so intelligent, why they shouldn't build something big that reach the sun light. The machines not have to fly higher. Rigth?

Well, it was my friend that thought of the electrical disturbance thing. I guess you're right.

how are they going to build it if everything that gets that high gets fried? unless they built it from the bottom, but even then any electronics (like power transfer stuff) would get fried by the electrical disturbance.

of doing that...they are machines and have highly advanced tech...so build a mechanical tower that works like a lift only its engine never leaves the ground so it can grow above the clouds, isolate it on the inside from electrical interfirence and u can send drones and stuff up so panels can be built on the top of the tower, above the clouds...done

the machines would probably do something like that they wouldnt bother with the humans...or even easier they would go with geothermal energy or atomic energy...

But then how would you go about getting the drones up there if they would just be shot down with electricity?

Grendelvs is the man that is correct, it just won't work if it is constantly being nailed by lightning.

well, the machine can get energy udsing other resources. But the machine only want to make human slave. It's just about anger.
