I do not understand why they had to kill Trinity in the 3rd matrix. She brought Neo back in the first and Neo brought back Trin in the second then they kill her off after mixing in this love story so to speak in the 3rd movie. I am a guy and married and to me killing her off made a huge upset to the movie and even ruined it almost after making there lives play such a huge role in the movie and Neo's decision making in the second matrix.

Along with that there was no action in this third movie the freeway scene in reloaded had more action than revolutions did period. There was too much dialogue if you ask me and the way they went about it didnt make sense.

Was too bad that the original Oracle could not play her role due to her death but I think they could have found a more suitable oracle to take her place. Anyway thats just some of the things I saw about the movie that really ruined it for me.

I think the reason they had to show Trinity die, was to make Neo understand everything has and end. Everything no matter how ugly or how beautiful has and end, and so he finishes the job. Also if Trinity didn't die, it would kinda suck to see Trinity waiting for Neo to come back, but he never does.

Looking at the transcript you'll be surprised to see LESS dialogue in Revolutions than reloaded... but the dialogue was not as engaging so... you actually notice it.

I loved the freeway chase, but I'm a CGI lover so gotta love my sentinels invading Zion.

Peace.

I think it would have sucked more if Trinity lives while Neo is gone.

When Trinity dies, it shows Neo that its not about living or dying. Its about love, and what you do with your life. Trinity knew she was going to die when she boarded that ship. She showed Neo that making the ultimate sacrafice shows the ultimate love. Sacraficing your life, for the lives of others. Neo knows when he is letting himself get copied over he will die, but will save Zion, and free more people from the matrix. Putting others before yourself. Smith clearly puts himself before others (Neo's opposite).

We already knew that Neo was willing to die. The Oracle told him he would die if he tried to save Morpheus, and he did it anyway.

Having nothing left to live for doesn't make his sacrifice more noble. It makes it less so.

If he'd been offered a similar choice as at the end of M2, to choose between ending the war and saving Trinity, and he chose to sacrifice Trinity, despite the incredible anguish it would've caused him, that would've been something. That would have been truly selfless. Especially if she were pregnant, which would have made the half-hour sex scene non-pointless.

Hmm never thought of it in that perpective. Just sad to see both die but yeah noe that I think of it really would have ruined it if one lived and the other did not. I still had hopes that M3 would maybe not be the end especially as a story as drawn out as this but like was said all good things must come to a end, still the ending of M3 left open questions of what would happen in the future with the scene of the architecht and the oracle.
