Answer me this what did Neo see when he looked at Dues 01
I know we all seen the face made from machines flying about, but neo was looking at it as light so what you all think he saw, could it be that very like butterfly thing.

The machines main source of energy was the sun...until we blocked it of course. I believe the "head machine", Dues Ex Machina, was built to emulate the sun....our "head machine". The machines were paying great respect to such a powerful source of energy and life...and the one that their makers (humans), depended on so deeply.


So, with Neo's "light" vision, I suppose Dues would look like a big bright sun

A sun. The script also mentions that DeM looked like a sun.

I believe that what Neo seen when he looked at Deus was like the sun a large face of light. I believe that what he was actually seeing was the source. The source being the collective mind of the machines.

The source created the Archie to create the matrix, I believe not for the reason that many of us believe. I think the source the collective mind of the machines created the matrix to keep man under control not as a form of electricity but to stop man from destroying himself.

This collective mind of the machines is far more inteligent then man. It after all created thhings like versatron and the machine, programs like smith the oracle.

All the machines want is peace. But it is like smiths sayys man persist in fighting them. So the machines built the matrix to in essence presevere the collective concious of man. The only way to keep man alive and real was by creating the matrix with zion where the real men could live. Lets remember that the machines can destroy zion anytime but they always keep men alive perhaps some form of obligation to their creators.
