[Enter The Matrix]
Ghost: "What's wrong?"
Niobe: "Morpheus called."
Sparks: "He needs your help. Can you believe that? Your help. He's got Neo why does he need you?!"

I think that we should write an article about matrix - explained.com forums and put it on wikipedia.

Something like this: en.wikipedia.org...

What do you think?

I think he means the site...Matrix-Explained. Th3 P4th wants to put up an article about this site on Wiki and how wonderful it is.

Rebel: I am trying to save the human race!

Me:People like YOU are the ones who started this mess. Ever watch the Animatrix?

Rebel:What?

Bingo! And if you search for Sophia / Sofia Stewart you'll find external links to the matrix - explained forums. So, why not add it?

So, we want an article that says:

* matrix - explained forums are high quality

* feature many interesting interpretations of the movies

* are up to date with info about V for Vendetta and Sophia Stewart's case

* members concider wikipedia as one of the best free encyclopedias and post wikipedia links to the forums

* people from many countries contribute to them

etc.

Do you agree / disagree? Who's gonna write it? My English are not that good.

Capt? You are a writer, right? Cool

And we should write about the Matrix - Explained commentary too.

I am a writer, but I wouldn't be great at putting in all the coding tags. If I wrote up some copy, would someone want to get it all formatted and looking nice?

I've done a quick first pass on the Reloaded script you copied from the .PDFs too and gotten it proofed a little. I'll try to get it back out tomorow reasonably cleaned up. Smile

"We don't have an article with this title, One Mind, but you can either search for it or create it if you log in or create an account. As an unregistered user, you may also submit the content that you wish to have created. Please read our introduction for more information about Wikipedia."

The One or One Mind....

All different kinds. My favorite things to write are fiction novels. I mainly work in 2 genres. Either pseudointellectual dark-comedic drama (like Safron's Everything is Illuminated or Cadre's Ready, Okay!) or science fiction/fantasy (like Piers Anthony's Incarnations series or King's Gunslinger series).

I've also written more journalistic work, and though you won't find me on any covers, my name is in tons of books all over your local Borders/Barnes and Noble (and you can see a book that I'm acknowledged in in the background behind Will Farrel in Bewitched when he's in a bookstore! Whitelaugh ).

I did have one of my novels linked in the Dreams thread, but the server my M4 and that novel were on went down for awhile and I haven't put them back up yet. That novel came very close to being published (I had an agent for it, and it got up to a second/board read with a prominent publisher), but the dream was never realized.

I choose to remain in anonymity for the moment. But I don't want to give the mistaken impression that I'm some well respected novelist or anything. I've never had any of my novels published (just articles and things). And, as I said, you can find my name all over the big bookstores, but it won't be on the cover. You'll have to flip it open, scan the interior credits or acknowledgements, and there you'll find me. Smile

I don't want to step on any toes here, but I have read tons of Wikipedia articles and edited a few, and that is really a terrible service. There is very little expert review and everyone's opinion counts the same, so there is nothing there that you can't find by Googling the same search term. In order to have a good encyclopedia, you have to consent to allow real-life expert moderators to review whole articles, not just any old users who gain mod privileges.

Most Wikipedia articles on important or controversial subjects (try the entry for "Joan of Arc" for instance) really don't provide any consensus and are just poorly done.

A good alternative to Wikipedia is just getting started called Citizendium:

en.citizendium.org...

You all can contribute there if you want to share something, but remember that it isn't like Wikipedia because when there is a dispute or vandalism, the moderators have more power to settle it.

Gotta be careful with objectivity, though. Words like "interesting", "high quality", etc are a little too subjective and self-promoting. You can only give opinions if they come from a recognised authority (e.g. if Cornel West said this site was dope, we could cite his opinion).

Yeah, if we create an article like this it will be marked for deletion immediately.

However, look at this:

media.www.slccglobelink.com...

Quote:

Stewart has confronted skepticism on all sides, much of which comes from Matrix fans, who are strangely loyal to the Wachowski Brothers. One on-line forum, entitled Matrix Explained has an entire section devoted to Stewart. Some who have researched her history and writings are open to her story. Others are suspicious and mocking. "It doesn't bother me," said Stewart in a phone interview last week, "I always knew what was true."
