»Any hint of a sequel?«

Does anyone know of any proof or anything at all that the Watchoski brothers would be interested in a sequel or a prequel sometime in the future? There's still alot of un-awnsered questions and i dont know anybody who doesnt want a sequel or a prequel.

There ain't gonna be one.

The trilogy is a masterpiece on it's own.

You need to answer the questions yourself, just like in life itself and in philosophy.

Didnt Warner Bros say we've greenlighted a sequal but only if the wachowskis want to do it. (Of which is no)

Actually, there aren't any unanswered questions. Just a lot of people who can't figure them out. What happens if they start another movie, people figure the movies out and only a handful of people go to see the new movie.

In short, I don't think there will be anymore movies. Perhaps, the Wachowskis will do something of a similar nature in the future. But, I don't see any more Matrix-branded movies.

The only thing fun to do would be making tv episodes about the adventures of the rebels during the fifth cycle, seeking the fifth One.

This way we could enjoy the action in Matrix-style again and as the series go on we find out more (technical) things about the Matrix. Things like more background information on the Merovingian and if the Anti One will also be rising in the fifth cycle.
