Potential Thematic / Philosophy input?

Just wanted to say that to some extent maybe a lot of people are finding it taxing to digest a logical and literal view of the movie because they are not seeing the thematic ideas that seem to be put forward.
For a start, Donna Haroway's Cyborg Manifesto seems to be in the trilogy often. The idea of Neo, Smith and Sati revolves around the idea of human / cyborgian theories. The trilogy deals with issues of man / machine or human / cyborg. The relationship and inter-dependency of machine and man. So reading on Haroway's material might illuminate where the W bro's are coming from.
Secondly, the philosophies of Baudrillard's simulation and simulacra help to explain some of the ideas behind the Zion / Matrix or Reality / Simulation idealogy. Remember, right into the very end of Revolutions Morpheous asks 'Is this Real?' so the blurring between simulation and reality might be related to these ideas in the Matrix movies.
Of course, revolutions finishes with lots of Christian, Upanishadic and Nietzchean ideas throughout but they are far more literal than the above mentioned.
Thanks

Hey there Max
Your right. The movie has a hell of a lot of meaning around Cyborg and Simulation theories. The movie is easy to understand when you can grasp the ideas of these philosophies.
The movies are full of crap dialogue but its true that there is a relation between machine and simulation being part of the human yin and yang.
