Part One
The Architect is stood in the middle of a white room. The Merovingian is stood at the other side.
The Architect: You are trading you're orders very dangrously...
The Merovingian begins to laugh.
The Merovingian: "Oh yes. You soon will realise that my actions are driven from my own free will.
The Architect: What do you mean? You are under my control.
The Merovingian: Yet, you do not realise it. The great Architect cannot even observe a program he writ correctly...
The Architect: You will do as I say. My requirements do not provide you with a choice. You should know that by now.
The Merovingian: Believe what you want. What are you going to do ... Delete me?
The Architect: Hm ... It is a possibility. I may have a replacement for you.
The Merovingian: You will never change, will you? You seek power, and you crave me. Yet you threaten to delete me? One wonders, what would the Oracle say about this?
The Architect: The Oracle ... why should she be consulted?
The Merovingian: You claim to figure out the truth, but you do not. I know more than you ... and you know it.
The Architect: This discussion what meant for one thing ... you're authority. You did not come here to debate you're actions. Deletion is in my power, not yours ... begin to realise the purtanent truth.
The Merovingian: Ha! You do not take responsibility, do you? The machine's are supposed to be in control of things ... Right? Even you're very own program corrupted you're very own system. What has the flawed program of the Matrix become? A stomping ground for humans? A place for programs to run riot? Remember, you are not in control here ...
The Architect: Control ... what are you suggesting? That I shall be deleted?
The Merovingian: Oh no ... I suggest you obey my orders.
The Architect: Predictable ... but still, unexpected. Meet you're evaluation, program ...
The Merovingian: Haha! It is very ironic, what you say.
The Architect: What I say is a simple matter of the truth. Choice is not an option. You are living in an artificial program. Choice is created through you're own will. In this place, choice is created through those with power ... and those without. Now run along, and do what you have been told to do.
The Merovingian begins to walk towards a door to his left.
The Architect: Do not fail.
The Merovingian: Do not fail? I thought I was living inside an artificial program which gives me the power of choice? Hm ... is it growing beyond you're power?
The Merovingian opens the door and walks through it.
To be continued...
