This post has to do with technologies and how they affect the matrix movie.

Some of you may have read one of my previous posts about the oracle being around before the matrix.
But if you didnt you still may find this interesting.

In this world devices such as tvs, Stereos and other gadgets were a BLACK colour not so long ago. But as technology progressed gadgets became WHITE and SILVER.

Now since the oracle is BLACK, and an oracle machine was an early powerful computer machine. I tend to think along the lines that the oracle was a machine that maybe was around before the war, And in fact the machine god..

Since the enemy machines identify with WHITE and SILVER. I think that this is an interesting little theory.

Any other constructive ideas are welcome....

I agree with your conclusion that the Oracle was around much longer, though Im not sure how powerful she was, or is outside the Matrix. Before the Matrix, her purpose was to study human nature etc.

We have seen examples of the machines doing this in the past - Pandora's boxes on MxO, and the animatrix 'the machines, having long studied the humans'...

Though, from the Architects speech, it seems that the machine world as a force doesnt look up to the Oracle - judging by the way the Architect reacted when Neo called her 'Oracle'. Though of course we do know that many programs know of her wisdom, though we dont know if this wisdom is only focused on the running of the matrix, or the greater machine world.

Why do you think that? If he is a Logical, mathematically thinking program then firslly, he cant lie. He adresses the fact that he did not lie/can be trusted at the end of Revolutions - 'I have you word?'
'What do you think I am, Human?'

The Architect is a mind bound by the parameters of perfection, whereas the Oracle is an intuative mind. Though I dont remember her lying either, only guiding Neo with timed truths.
