On a more serious note, can anyone think of a reason why Merv was so central in Reloaded and not in Revolutions? I have been searching for a reason? Do you think he will pop up in deleted scenes later released?

The inserted him to have another figure for the comics. The same applies to the albino ghosts, Persephone, the Kid and others

I think Merv was so central in Reloaded to highlight the fact that all the machines don't work in unison. The Merovingian is a rogue. I guess that his original purpose was that of train and getting programs in and out, etc etc.

But, in Reloaded he highlights powerful programs exist that are not part of the system. In Revolutions Smith highlights this idea more than enough.
