16"As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him."

Whe Neo is unplugged and falls thru the tube into the water, and the Ship grabs him.

So you believe in that full immersion baptism, not that sprinkling of water nonsense.

How about a microphone to produce the lightning?

mrbrown950 is right! and its not the only incedent where the bible, christianity (other religions also) and myth connect with the matrix! infact its so huge a topic that i am doing an this exact topic as a school subject! yes a complete subject! the names used are an ezpecially interesting topic! also compare neo's 'reserection' in the end oe the first matrix and his 'cruserfiction' in te last one! its all really interesting AND NOT A WASTE OF TIME!

the matrix can't tell you who you are

So what is your take on the Nebuchadnezzar?

Why is the ship that Trinity and Neo take the Logos?

"We have the Nebuchadnezzar on approach. Let's open her up."

~Kid: I've been thinking a lot about it and I've made my decision,

…I want to join the Nebuchadnezzar… the more I think about it, the more I think it's meant to be. You know, it's fate.

logos... logos is very interesting... "in the begining there was the Word and the word was god" originally this was logos. logos is the word. it is that which delivers or is the unity of god. the beginning. the word was the messier and neo is very messieranic!

The word LOGOS is the origin of the word LOGIC

Mr. Spock was a computer expert.

The machines had better keep Vulcans out of The Matrix.

ps - Humans have no alternative but to become more logical to cope with the matrix of technology we have created. It is only reasonable that a sci-fi writer would forsee Childhood's End.

yes logos is related to logic... i agree with you. logos is The Word in the simplest sence. it is more than that it is wisdom, knowledge from that comes logic.

Neo (the messier) does not represent logic so much as something else. a beliefe, knowledge or logos. Neo meaning new (and also an anagram of one) is there as a messier. the people of zion needed a new person (messier) to believe in a One to look up to and to break down the allusion of the matrix. with knowlede, wisdom or logos not with lodgic.

Actually I regard the issue as mostly a joke.

I fail to comprehend why so many people take it so seriously.

This elderly couple that rented an apartment from me kept inviting me to church. I told them repeatedly I didn't go to church. finally I told them I had already made reservations in hell and payed cash. I wish I had a picture of their faces. but they stopped inviting me to church, so insane humor can sometimes be effective.

I thought the definition of agnostic was stupid when I was a kid. My dictionary said, "a person that believes it is impossible to know whether or not there is a God." That isn't what I decided I meant when I said it. I simply meant that I didn't know No one had given me any plausible evidence for and even if the atheists were right there is no way they could come up with a shred of evidence to prove their point. If you can't even come up with a good definition of god how can you prove there ain't none?

Most of the atheists I have come across have an anti-Christian fixation and their "logical" arguments center on Christianity and that necessitates bringing in Judaism and Islam just happens to be in the vicinity. I haven't met an anti-Buddhist atheist yet.

But I switched from calling myself an agnostic to calling myself a heretic in the 80s. I suspect there is a God I just think He/She/It is wierder than Christians give Him/Her credit for.

ps - My sense of humor is somewhat deviant and I tend keep it in check on the internet even less than I do in real space.

I know i got your name wrong and I am sorry..

The question that you asked before about the neb and the logos was a good one.

Now as you may know king neb had a dream about the beast of revelations.

now the beast of revelations is the antichrist and his kingdoms. Now i believe that the ship has this name as it refers to the boss machine. Because the actual opposite to neo is the machine.. man vs machine you know. smith is not neos opposite because smith isnt real. The real opposite is the boss. smith is only neos enemy within the matrix. As neo is real and smith in the matrix is not.. You will find that the more important world is the real world. And since the neb is in the real world..The nebs name refers to the real world the boss machine and his ungodly kingdom of the matrix.
so whoever named the neb was definetly not the machine god. They were not on side with him.

But in revolutions the oracle was on the machines side.. being the program created by the architect and all

It's OK since you still came up with 11 letters. This Time! Whitelaugh

It's all about the number of letters. I left the 'e' out of hacker because then I have the same number of letters as "Mickey Mouse." You left the 'e' out of psikey and replaced the 'k' with a 'c'.

psi = pressure, pounds per square inch

key = critical point to put the pressure

psikey = psyche, mind

hackr = hacker

Next time it's The Agonizer. Whitelaugh Whitelaugh

The internet is the only way to do a Vulcan mind meld with the planet.

Mickey Mouse = MM = Mirror, Mirror = Star Trek episode with eVil Vulcan from the Dark Side.

psikeyhackr

ps - and MM = 2000, The Matrix came out in 1999 so we can now have The Matrix Millenium.
