Stop your silly speculations

Please go back and watch the movie when you aren't drunk. Try to read the "text" and stop making up silly ideas and questions that have no relevence. The movie is a bit of a mystery but much of it is straightforward. Have you nothing better to do than goof around with a perfectly good movie with silly speculation?

Interesting. Have you so little a life that you must find worth in yourself by attacking people who are merely discussing a movie they find interesting?

Apparently so.

Here's a tip for you, my surly acquaintance: If you find this speculation so boorish and asinine, you may easily end your exposure to it by no longer reading this forum.

@ stopgoofing It is a real shame that some people cannot see past the end of their own opinion.
You have to look with better eyes than the ones you're using at the moment...but unfortunately seems that they are the only ones you've got. You may be able to see and understand the threads... Shocked

Must have forgotten to mention that on my site. OK, here's my announcement before you read anything:
a) I was drunk when I watched the movies
b) I was in a coma when I made this site

Well, how small would the internet be, if everybody thought like that?

If you don't speculate you will lose a good percentage of the intended flare of the movie. These movies are made to make you think, and if you want to just enjoy them for being movies then thats cool but do not try and stop others from getting more enjoyment out of them.

I think its more the problem of over-speculating.

Many of the therioes on the main site overlook clear and straightforward information that is given to us and instead relies on wild speculation to cook up new therieos.

We're trying to find out just how deep the rabbit hole goes...and we've learned an awful lot on the way, this is serious research my friend, and we've all had a great deal of fun getting to where we are at.
Don't you realise that when there is CHANGE in the air, it is first detected by the creatively inclined; poets, writers, artists etc...
These creative forces have a new medium to open our eyes to changes that are occurring right now.

There is no problem with exploration of various themes and possibilites, but Im talking about the creation of ideas that are purported to be more than likely true when they disregard and contradict direct evidence.

Some people here are not starting from the facts to create their theroies. They come up with an idea, then analyze and twist the facts to meet the evidience they require.

that is the problem.

I agree totally.

The thing that makes the trilogy worth discussing is (a) the implications of a similar premise being real, and (b) the philosophical connotations that the trilogy deals with.

All the rest about the 'hows' and 'whys' are either explained clearly, or are so trivial that it doesn't even matter. This is a work of fiction after all, and thinking that the inevitable minor plot holes are some kind of major point of discussion is absurd.

The main questions about the premise are answered (with the exception of the ambiguity of Neo's fate beyond Revolutions, if there is any at all), and the questions asked are the philosophical ones.

See past the cool fx and kung fu, once you do that, youll find that is not about answers, its just making the right questions.

With all due respect, that makes absolutely no sense.

You can't just bastardise quotes from the film to make a pseudo point.

I think what he/she is trying to say is when you look past all of the SFX, and the action scenes it is only the questions and answers you are or have been looking for.

One of the most hilarious sights to me is people getting in other people's faces where they clearly have no business to. Drives some up the wall, but personally it just makes me laugh (though invading Iraq may have taken it little too extreme to be laughable Wink ).

I love this site cause it gives me something interesting to think about if I don't feel like thinking about homework. Talk some more, guost -- the world spins on without you.
