»Thoughts on the red code«

After Neo is blinded he can see the fields, sentinels, etc in red code. Whats up with that? Is it proof that the real world is just another matrix?
Is it code or does it represent karma?

This is definately a movie that we will have to watch a few more times to truly understand.

I found the code to be more yellow than red but anyway... I think he is kinda connected to the machines so he can feel/see/whatever the electrical architecture of the machine world...? maybe he sees the world like the machines do?
