I was wondering about the A. between Thomas Anderson.
So this is my theory: A is the Greek Alpha, The last letter in Neo is the Omega. So we have beginning and end, and an autodescription of Jesus Christ.

Above is the main stuff on His name, also confirmed in the box set (if you have it). So we definitely have a messiah figure here. However the Wach bro’s explained multiple meanings and hidden other meanings etc intended. So although we DO have the NEW (Neo) Son of Man (Anderson) represented in this character, we also have all the questioning nature and discovery any one of us could go through in investigation of this ‘One’ alias Jesus Christ. So perhaps this is A Anderson similar to when Smith introduces himself as A Smith in M1. So what we have is two figurants of ‘many’ defining the Old Adam (Son of Man) and the Neo (New) One: as iterated in the Bible –
The first man was of the dust of the earth, the second man from heaven. As was the earthly man, so are those who are of the earth; and as is the man from heaven, so also are those who are of heaven
For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.
(Corinthians 15:47/22)
So, much of the journey of discovery about ‘His’ death is ours as well as his life… if we died with him we will also live with him –(Bible)
So much of the Bible talks like this and explains it as an eternal discovery/mystery forever hidden in Love.
…that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you…that they may be one as we are one (John 17:20-23)

Also in ETM we hear smith saying he is the “Alpha of your Omega… I am the beginning of your end”. He’s not saying this to Neo but us all. So again we have a picture (like so many) that smith is US just the same Neo is any one of us who choose His path.
Tricky to get your head around this kind of multidimensional thinking/perspective if your not used to it. But these perspectives are there, like so many others too.
The reality of this discovery is iterated and confirmed in so many ways repeatedly, not least most probably also in the latest game: The Matrix path of Neo
