»revolutions begining sequence«

In the first scene when you are still looking at the coding it appears that you see buildings made of code but it zooms out to see a single symbol floating is space before being consumed in coding again. This single symbol looks like a cross with a cresent moon on top. I searched for this symbol and found this site
symbols.com... The symbol is an old alchemist's symbol for to test which i find interesting in context that neo is being tested to fight the machines and save zion.

there's debate as to wether it's:

a bull's head

A grail cup

This adds one more interesting possibility.

It's also the shape of the megacity. In the DVD extras you see that clearly, as well as the map from MxO

I had a loose thorey that it was the effiel tower upside down, but the carama turns, any way the effiel tower is in the city of love. So i couldnt be trins and neos bond

while it does stand for "TEST", i believe that is represents Neo test of faith, in himself and to the people he is fighting for.

That's cool you were able to find that symbol. My only concern is before your theory is 'delved' into, are we sure that's the actual symbol. i recall the symbol being the other way around. the one you have cited is upside down compared to the one ih the movie.
I began a massive search to find the exact symbol once, but found nothing matchng exactly. a Lot of symbols that could make the one we see, but extrapolating one core meaning from 3 symbols meaning is stretching a bit.
It defintely makes sense though - if it does mean 'test'.
Perhaps the the inversion of the actual real life symbol is to symbolize that it's not Neo's test, but maybe the machines test. Maybe they need to realize, for the first time since the working cycle was created, that not everything can be classified in black and white and will remain as such forever - hence the machines opinion and thus their course of action with the humans will only be a temporary fix - eventually the machines will need to address the fact that they're no better than the humans who originally started the war and thus also need to change.

Yes but also it starts upside down and the camera spins around till it is right side up before it is engulfed in other symbols. but like you said it may or may not be the symbol and it does seem further away than closer.
