»"The Source" Explained«

I must say that The Matrix Trilogy reminds me alot of the rock group Queensryche "Operation Mindcrime" CD in that the ending is left wide open to your perception of what you think happened or what it's about. Having said that my theory is that throughout each film including Animatrix, there is a "choice" that one has to pick from. In the first film NEO had the choice between himself or morpheus and he pick saving morpheus. In the second film he had the choice between starting everything all over again, Or picking Trinity. We all know he picked trinity. The oracle was telling him throughout that he had to make these choices, In the end she said he "Had to go to the source" When he met the "Architect" (which in my opinion is a program created by the machines to talk to "The Ones") He said he had to go to the source. The Source in fact is the Machine we all see in the previews that rises before NEO and (from the matrix website) NEO makes a deal with to end Agent Smiths agenda. So in closing "The Source" was NOT the Artchitect it was the Master Machine he meets in the preview. He has completed his mission but we really dont know what happens to him after that, Which of course is why were all here. "What happens to NEO?" Trinity? I came to this conclusion by watching Animatrix. nowhere on the DVD do they even remotley state ANYTHING about an "Artchitect" that created all of this. The machines created this by way of man. In fact everyone in the matrix that is close to NEO wants him to meet the source(which is the head machine, NOT The artchitec) the others do not want him to succeed because that will be their demise. NEO will reach the source, not the architect but the main machine and will stop this repeated cycle that seems to not end for the people or programs in the matrix. the ending will be left wide open as to what happens to NEO and his future, much like Operation Mindcrime cd that I talked about in the begining. I personally don't want it to end unlike some of the mainstream 40 something crowd who still doessnt get it. I think this will continue, maybe not through film but through comics/dvd material...This is a great story that I hope will continue, Or it all may end when I see the film.
