What message did you get from the Trilogy ?

The Warchowski Brothers wanted people to interpret the movie themselves. We have tons of how and why questions regarding the Matrix world. But what did you "get" from the movie, even if you don't understand the technicalities (or choose not to accept the explanations given here) ?

For me, the Trilogy explores the evolution of the machines and their blurring relationships with man. The machines are starting to understand human emotion (or at least they think they do).
E.g.
* Persephone vs Neo
* Rama, his wife and Sati
* Oracle and her faith/trust on Neo

The new breed of programs is now capable of dealing with human at all levels (beyond just killing them). I should say the machines cannot exterminate the human due to the Architect's equation. So with the help of The One, the Oracle has opened a new chapter to rewrite the world order between man and machine.

Cheers !

it's nice to see posts like these every now and then.

Well what did I get from the Matrix trilogy?

The Matrix Revolutions ends the mythological plot of the movie with an inspiring message of voluntary participation in the sorrows of the world.

it is a field trip into the world of creative mythology and most important delivered to a mass audience in a society hungry for a new mythical story to let us explore our inner mind and our understanding of life.

this is little passage from a book written my profesor Masao Abe
-----
Thirty years ago, before I began the study of Zen, I said, ‘Mountains are mountains, waters are waters.’

After I got an insight into the truth of Zen through the instruction of a good master, I said, ‘Mountains are not mountains, waters are not waters.’

But now, having attained the abode of final rest [that is awakening] I say 'Mountais are really mountains, waters are really waters"
-----
We need to accept things from what they are... mountain is a word and so is water, a part our poor but beautiful language what matter is what is implied by the word so even the Matrix can be a beautiful place... and we can have steak.

Peace.

I love LOTR but unfortunately, there won't be a surprise, but a peace of fantasy and a great story to get to life in a very dedicated way.

Matrix was a surprise, because it was allways dfferent to what I expected. It encourages everyone to think twice about the real world and the decisions to make.

... there is an amazing way out ...

I believe we got what we expected, it is as simply as many do not want to realize.

Hey pal, if you see it pointless, then the movie "got" into you, they have you exactly where they want, THINKING, and maybe you could be a hell of a writer if you do finally decide to do it, remember FREE YOUR MIND, and hey... IT IS FREE Whitelaugh

Someone told me that if there are many explanations for something, then no one is right, and i think that is exactly what happens here, it is all about what strings the movies touched in you. Everyone has something to say, please. Bannerthanks

uh ok but is it just a racey movie full of lesbian love scenes?

or does it have a good plot or action like you would "expect" from the w brothers movies?

there are alot of movies out there that are 'racey' that are horrible.

Special envoy Kofi Annan said Friday he was disappointed by President Bashar al-Assad's response to ideas for ending the bloodshed in Syria, and appealed to the UN to unite in its bid to halt the conflict.

A handout picture released by nike-air-jordan.org... the official Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA ) shows Syrian President Bashar al-Assad (right) meeting with UN-Arab League envoy Kofi Annan in Damascus on March 10. Annan said he was disappointed by Assad's response to ideas for ending the bloodshed in Syria, and appealed to the UN to unite in its bid to halt the conflict.

"The stronger and more unified your message nike-air-max-pascher.org..., the better chance we have of shifting the dynamics of the conflict," Annan was quoted as telling the 15-nation UN Security Council.

He also nike-air-max-pascher.net... told the council he was sending a mission to Damascus next week to discuss putting monitors in place even though he has had a "disappointing response" so far to his proposals from Assad, diplomats said.

The United Nations says some 8,000 people have died since opposition protests flared last March, but dissent monitors say the toll is closer to 9,100 lives nike-air-max90.net....

Speaking by video conference from Geneva, Annan briefed a closed-door meeting of the council about his talks with Assad in Damascus last weekend.

The former UN secretary general said his "six point proposals" to Assad remain on the table, but that he had "no illusions" over the scale of his mission as the uprising enters its second year.
Annan's spokesman, Ahmad Fawzi, speaking in Geneva, confirmed the plans for a mission to the Syrian capital air-max-soldes.net....

"Mr Annan has decided to send a mission to Damascus to discuss modalities of a monitoring mechanism and practical steps to implement other issues in Mr Annan's proposals, including an immediate cessation of the violence and the killing," Fawzi said.

On the ground acheternikechaussures.org..., thousands of anti-regime protesters Friday called for foreign military intervention to bring down the Syrian government. And the Syrian Observatory said at least 15 people were killed around the country on Friday.

The Syrian foreign ministry said in Damascus the government has vowed to cooperate with Annan, the special UN and Arab League envoy, while at the same time fighting "terrorism," its term for Syria's anti-regime revolt.
