My Take on MWAM

According to the physical laws of the universe, MWAM is the only realistic explanation of what happened at the end of Reloaded. Many people say that Neo was able to destroy the sentinels because he was somehow connected to the matrix and thus was able to give them some sort of command or order or something. Even if this were true, even if he did tell them to die via wireless internet, what happened is still impossible. There is this thing in physics called momentum... ya know, that thing that keeps moving things moving. When the sentinels died, they did not keep flying forward and slam into the ground (nor did their broken bits). The sentinels and all their debris (if there was any... cant remember.... but anything that gets jacked up like they did usually has debris... not that that means anything) stopped, dead in their tracks. They completely stopped all forward movement in a split second. If Neo had ordered them to stop and then die or some such, they would have had to slow down and then stop. It was like they hit a wall. A wall that Neo created. As we all know, humans cannot make invisible walls in the real world. Thus, we must assume that Neo was in fact not in the real world (according to physics).

This assumption is further supported by the sentinel actually passing through Neo in Revolutions. That is completely impossible according to the physics of the real world.

There are many more reasons that MWAM is the only realistic explanation for Neo's real-world powers. However, I do not believe MWAM. I believe much of what happened in the sequels was metaphorical, spiritual, and, above all, not intended to be realistic. If the Wachowski's intended MWAM to be the story, there would have at least been hints at it in the movies, but there are none.

I am thus forced to belive Neo has magic. Go Wachowski's go.

if you take the red pill and look deep down into the rabbit hole.

During Neo's first jack-in into the construct program, the scorched surface of the earth is described by Morpheus to Neo as the “desert of the real”, alluding to French Philosopher Jean Baudrillard’s Simulacra and Simulation.

The central point of Baudrillard’s book is his thesis that we live in what he calls a ‘hyper-reality’, a virtual world that stands in its own right and is not a simulation or copy of some prior real world.

There are still traces, within this hyper-reality, of what the Zionites believe are the remains of a prior real world yet, these vestiges only seem real. But since they are contained within this hyper-reality, they are simulacra; copies of nothing at all.

Thus, when Morpheus alludes to the “desert of the real”, I think he is referring not to a genuine reality but to an illusion of reality within a fully virtual world.

It is my belief that if Neo and Trinity can enter and pass through the "desert of the real" on their way to the machine city, then Zion must be in connection with this place, put 2 and 2 together, and it would seem that Zion is indeed also a simulacra -a virtual world within a virtual world.

I agree that a MwM is a possibility... did the acrhitect not say something about Zion being destroyed and recreated more than once and that the one must return with the code to prevent catastrophe.

What does that have to do with MwaM?

Why would a "simulation" have to be destroyed? Or are you going to say that was a simulation, too?
