Lets say a person awakens from the Matrix, he will consequently disappear from the Matrix . How is your disappearance explained to your family and friends in the Matrix ? Do the agents cover it up ?
How about people that are already in the real world and go back to the Matrix from time to time , just like Morpheus' crew does . Don't they want to visit their family and friends ?

1) Usually only children are freed. Maybe orphans only
2) Maybe this is the reason for the inexplicable missing of persons. (The guy who just wanted to buy cigarettes and never came back)

Is there any evidence for this ?
We only know the ages of 3 people that have been freed : Neo , the Counselor , and the Kid .

[Matrix 1]

Neo: "I can't go back, can I?"
Morpheus: "No. But if you could, would you really want to? I feel I owe you an apology. We have a rule. We never free a mind once it's reached a certain age. It's dangerous, the mind has trouble letting go. I've seen it before and I'm sorry."

You are right , I remeber that conversation .

Knnknn , tell us a little about yourself . Did you make both this site and the forum by yourself ? How do you find the time to keep it up ? Is this only a hobby for you ?

Yep, just a hobby.

I saw the movie and was somehow disappointed with some answers (and the lack thereof) that were given in the net...
( as I write at

matrix-explained.com...
)

All the forums, round and round - same theories, same answers... Shocked

Also, many forums are childish with more dis and exclamation marks than words

Quote:

WOW!!!!! YOU SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thus I wanted to start something where all the (counter-)theories are known before one posts. I thought this would keep the level of the forum up. (I also refuse to add childish smilie grafics to this forum). And so far I am quite satisfied. Most of the postings here are quite good.

------------------------

This site is also a playground to get in contact with forums and people (this is my first forum). I wanted to see how much traffic it sucks etc (right now the site sucks 300Megs per week).

And I also wanted to check out how fast the poster business would make me rich Very Happy ($0 so far Rolling Eyes ). Imagine this: Last week the views of the poster section (http://www.matrix-explained.com/posters/) added up to more than 4000 page views. Interesting how little posters the people buy. The poster grafics themselves are loaded from allposters.com, thus this isn't even included in the traffic. I don't know how these guys can make a buck with such a bandwidth.

------------------------

And last not least I wanted to try my menu maker (that I bought from sothink.com). Did you notice that it's a little bit transparent?

If you readsome of the matrix comics at

whatisthematrix.com...
you can read a comic that deals with this subject. A guy goes and visits his old girlfriend, she turns into an agent, and then kills him. I think it's called "There are no flowers."
