what do you think will happen with neo and the smith-man? will they die, will they change yet again, does it even matter?

i may be the only knuckle-head that thinks this, but i think the result of their final conflict is going to be some new type of "life" that is a mix of machine-code in a human body. like Bane/Smith. software that has a choice.

go ahead, call me crazy. at least i don't think niobe is the mother of the matrix

Hey, I have added Borg to the poll

There is a "spoiler" jumpoing around in the web that goes like this (clever idea):

1) The machines need Neo, because Smith spreads like mad
2) They let them street fight
3) Smith wins (merges with Neo)
4) The machines unplug Neo, thus both Neo and Smith die.

Well, I don't know. As you can suggest from the Matrix 3 trailer, Neo is in the Matrix without his body being connected to the Matrix. Thus unplugging wouldn't help anyway.
