There is a selection of characters in the films who "write code" usually in the form of food - Merv's cake, the Oracle's "feel good" cookies & candy.

However who is writing/suppyling Morph's Red & Blue pills? Surely they alter the body in similar ways to the cake and buscuits, so who's writing them?

Here's a starter for 10 - maybe the oracle, with her drive for freedom of choice?

The Oracle is a good candidate yes because it's her job to unbalance things.

Or maybe just the rebels themselves, just a program they use for their hacking bussiness.

I think the zionites wrote it themselves, and they upload the blue and red pills to the matrix when they jack in. Since the red pill acts as a trace to the human in their pod so that the zionites can save them, and the blue pill just makes them I guess forget about the meeting and the human is then ignorant of the truth of the matrix again, I can say that they must've made them in Zion or something. Seems logical to me.

No, I think the red and blue pills look like advil gel capsules, they are see-through and look nothing like candy to me. Here's a pic...

But if you look closer, the red & blue pills and the advil both have light shining through them, as in they're somewhat see-through. All the candy, including the jelly beans, do NOT have that, they are solid and don't have light shining through them.

Besides.... pills = medicine NOT candy... just a little common sense.
