»The end confused me«

I understood everything up to the point where neo went through the door to trinity. I don't understand why everything is beginning to explode in the matrix (as he flies out of the building and as he is flying through the city). What are these explosions?

It was my belief that the exploding building was the result of the bombs that the keymaker mentioned. As Neo isnt meant to go out that way, it sets them off and nukes the floor of the building. There shouldnt be anything else exploding though, just Neo creating some major wind suction as he flies far too fast for the average car's tyre grips to cope with.
