i have this theory that the kid, neo saved at the school, is the kid who bugs them in the second movie, and gets in that core unit and shoots the door,thats what i think. least thats what i think watch it and see

Say, what about the theory that The Kid is a Potential? (those orphans who possess super-matrix-manipulation powers like SpoonBoy)

I just see him as the replacement for Morpheus, not the one but the guy that dedicates his life looking for the one.

I never understood "the potentials"-thing...

Potentials for what? Being the One? If so, wouldn't Morpheus be all over them?

I think they mean that they are potentials to be freed from the Matrix. As you know it is the Oracle's purpose to unbalance the equation, so she has to assist in getting certain people out.

The Kid would not be a replacement for Morpheus, I think rather a replacement for Neo, if he unfortunately would have died somewhere in the Real World (I mean that is possible: a certain Zionite could have a brain-defect and maybe assassinate him in a psychotic rage).

The Kid has "neuro-kinectics" maybe on a same level as Neo has ("how does he always know?" ; same subconsious frequency maybe?).

The funny part is that he is being ignored like a stupid nerd because the dogmatic believers think they already have "the One" and nothing else matters.

It is in fact a true meisure of control, which blinds people. Maybe they would have been smarter if they would have concentrated on finding more people like the Kid, so they could have multiple "Ones", freeing more people and terrorisizing the Matrix all over the place. Instead they blind on the Prophecy and they want to get the One to the Source, which is exactly what the Architect wants them to do.

First of all, if the potentials are somehow linked into becoming people of zion, or the one. Then they would already know that the matrix is not real. Then the free will that neo has in and out of the matrix, would be part of the potentials. there would be no need to worry about anything else....


Am i making sense?, i hope so.
