I saw a commercial for SIn City the other day, and it kind of reminded me of the Matrix. DOes anybody know anything about it?

Flip a coin. Choose heads or tails but, if you knew every variable, there would be no choice, only an answer. That is how the Architect works.

I know Bruce Willis is in it, and Quentin Terentino is involved in the film.

I saw a preview for it last week in the theatres but it doesn't look very good. Atleast, I wouldn't pay to see it.

It reminded me of The Crow and it seemed like it would be an excellent waste of time on mind numbing action and violence if one found themselves with nothing better to do on the weekend.

its based on an EXCELLENT series of graphic novels called Sin City: A Dame To Kill For, SC: That Yellow Bastard, SC: The Big Fat Kill.

In the graphic novel all the stories are separate but involve some of the same characters but the way the movie looks all of the events may intersect at some points. The comics are done in noir style and the film looks to be a highly stylized version of that.

If its done right..all I gotta say about the movie is you're gonna LOVE Miho...deadly little Miho Cool

Come and get one in the yarbles, if ya have any yarbles!!

Frank Miller, the writer and artist for the comic series, appeared to practically draw with a white pen on black backgrounds. He used some really creative and stark tonal values that made the art really stand out. THe movie appears to be really trying to pay homage to this aspect of the comic.
