»A Revelation«

I just wish to share a revelation with you, it came to me when I attempted to define reality , despite my hate for the mwam theory, i've reached a conclusion that the zionites may still fight for zion even if it was another matrix mainly because they fight to protect what they have left - it's their reality so they fight to preserve it.. But, if there was another matrix then the machine's would no longer be the real enemy. .. ((as i said in another topic - for all we know aliens may have enslaved both of the battling factions, machines and humans and put them both in the zion matrix ))

It's kind of like, a man who lives in a mud hut will fight to stay in his home even though it's not a real house.

ok ok. it dosen't fit in. but i was just using an example to say that, people will fight to protect what is theirs, and if it's their "reality" then they'll protect it. so even if it turns out that zion is a matrix, the zionites would still fight to protect their reality.

this may have been obvious to many.. but I just thought i'd mention that.

So the machines should move the war into the matrix? Then humans would fight for their home in the matrix.

SMITH is The One in the Matrix - He's fighting for Everything...
Neo is The One in Zion - He's fighting for Everything...
It only seems logical that Neo and Smith have to return to the Source together - Perhaps they have to mix-and-match again...

Smith says that something was copyed or overwitten from neo.
Prehaps it was only unlocked.

On the other hand prehaps the prime code that neo is supposed to
put into the source is also in smith now.
After all Smith knew were The Keymaker was taking Neo aswell....

Prehaps thats also what the oracle means when telling Neo
"Tonight the fate of both worlds will be in your hands, or his"

then in one of the previous trailers Morpheus says surprised
"He fights for us"

He is not talking about Neo. If someone said that Neo was on the
machines side Morpheus would be more angery then surprised or
shocked....

So could he be talking about Smith? Prehaps the Merroginvian or someone else has
written a new One that is stronger then Smith and Neo and Smith
and Neo join forces.... end up melding again DeDa! Super One!

Or is Morpheus talking about Seraph? then that squashes my super
one idea.....

I understand your first point that the Zionists would fight to save Zion even if it were fake. This is a basic staple of philosphy and religion -- that there is a higher power. It is not to say that the moment people find out there is a higher power they will suddenly want to destroy it.

If aliens created Earth does that mean we should destroy Earth rather than be slaves to the aliens? By the same logic why would humans destroy the matrix knowing that most of them would then die since the planet is now all messed up.
