You cannot 'think' about getting blasted away by a plethora of machine guns and start spitting blood our your mouth only to die in the present reality. That isn't possible. This is what happened to Mouse in the Matrix, and anyone else 'plugged in' who dies physically. Your mind in the Matrix could not possibly have any DIRECT connection to your physical current state in the Real World in which your brain signals, making you think its real, cause REAL WOUNDS inside your body.

Now, this isn't to say that it can't work the OTHER WAY around. For example, at the end when the Deus Ex Machine sends those white power surges through Neo, it can kill Smith in the Matrix because his control in the Real World is dead. But it can't work that if you die in the Matrix you die in real life.

There is no way you are going to 'spit out blood' from the effect of bullets hitting your body in a place that simply ISN'T REAL!

But the Matrix makes you believe it is real. Your mind is plugged into it. The mind also sends signals to the rest of your body. So no, its not a flaw. It makes sense.

When we have a dream and we get shot up, do those 'signals' tranfer over into our 'real world' and we wake up spitting out blood or dying? No.

But this once I did wake up crying with tears in my eyes after this horrible nightmare, a tragic nightmare that....well, I won't get into it. It's deep.

Remember in M1 when Neo was in the jump training program and he fell and landed on his ass, he was bleeding from his lip . When he was back in the machine world, he was bleeding on his lip and asked Morpheus "I thought you said it wasnt real" Morpheus replied "your mind makes it real" "IF you die in the Matrix.. you die here. " The body cannot live without the mind. Like Mouse was shot up in the Matrix but since his mind was jacked in, it sent a signal to his brain, that he is shot and is bleeding and he is dead . His mind made it real and thats why he was bleeding in the real world, when he was shot

psychosomatic internal bleeding. what's implausible about that? it's real now...so why wouldn't it be just as real where your brain is plugged into a virtual reality that's as convincing as this one?

Exactly. Its not just a dream. Our minds believe it to be reality. ANd our minds are plugged into it. Therefore whatever our minds in the Matrix feels, our bodies will react in the real world. Thats the whole idea behind the Matrix. Where have you been for the past 5 years?

A very prime, and quite explicit, example of how the mind is able to have psychosomatic effects of your physical body. People have physical reaction all the time that originate from some sort of stress of problem in their mind. And yes. Even physical reactions from the genitalia derived from purely mental stimulation.

The matrix has you...

Yeah, just like in Minority Report where the bloke arses his boss out while plugged into a virtual simulation program. And where the other chap gets off while John Anderton walks by in the corridor. Dat's a human created matrix in Minority Report.

Very good explanation. When you dream something "wet" and you ejaculate in your dream, also you do it in your phisycal body, aka "wet dreams"

I have dream once that I was shot, I woke up and feel the warm of the blood of the bullet hole in my chest, I felt it about 5 minutes after wake up. I believe that the mind may come everithing you think true, as is your desires, dreams or whatever.

We think we know almost all about our mind, but I think we don't. The Mind can do whatever you want, even betray us.

A wet dream is not mind over body, it's the other way around. When you ejaculate in your sleep, it's caused by the reproductive system's need for release of semen to maintain fertility. The dream is the result, not the cause.

I used to wake up with serious back pains after dreams of being beat up. I thought at first that it was the dream transferring onto my body, but I came to realize later that it was a tension issue - I would develop the back pains in my sleep because of my tension (try flexing a muscle hard for 10 minutes), and the dream was formed as a result. When I woke up, I would relax and the pain would go away.

Good point of view, the mind creates the dream in order to maintain fertility, but its related the physical ejaculation to the dream, that's the point, what happens in mind can produce a reaction in the body, that explains bleeding when jacked in the matrix. Shocked

In your case it's correct. But in my case, what does it means being shot? I think it was not stress, maybe I remenber dreaming this after watching a war movie before sleep Whatthe .

Can't people sweat blood under situations of extreme stress?

Actually I think it works both ways. I can't give a definite answer because I'm not a real doctor, but I believe when you're asleep it can go either way. Your mind can influence your body or vis versa. The world outside of your mind can influence what you dream.
