I remember in an interview the actress who played Zee said Revolutions answered the questions....regardless of whether she was right...

Do you Keanu Reeves, Carrie Ann Moss....Lawrence Fishburn....knew what Revolutions meant?

Or did they just see it as open to interpretation too?

None of those people understood Reloaded or Revolutions. If they had been into it at all they would have raised a red flag about how Revo didn't answer the major questions fans had.

They were just doing their jobs.

What did Keanu Reeves know?

In the last interview I saw (I think a couple of days before Revolutions came out) he said he didn't even see the final version.

most actors in many movies don't actually see the final cut anyhow.. i really doubt any of the ppl acting in the matrix know what's really goin' on about the whole matrix philosophy..honestly, does anyone besides the W bros know?

yeah, nobody does or ever will know the full extent of symbolism and meaning within the Matrix trilogy, besides the Wachowski brothers..

but i do think that the principal actors do have some insights into things, because i read somewhere that while the Wachowskis didn't give away the secrets any more easily to the cast than they did to the audience, they did however provide guidance for the actors.. whenever they had questions for them regarding things that they were unsure about...

In a way I'm kind of glad the actors didn't understand the films, because it allows the audience to think for themselves and draw their own conclusions instead of being spoon fed. It also allows them to come to forums like this to share and discuss their own theories.

There is no one exact "meaning" of the Triology, it is dependant on one's perception on the several underlaying themes and symbols....Anybody could be as "right" as the Wachowskis, its all a matter of one's perspective.

I could see The Boys sitting at home with all their money laughing at all of us losers who sit here trying to figure out what it means.... Twisted Evil only to tell us that it only means one thing to them, $$$$....

It could be that there is yet another part to this trilogy but I dought it. If there was I think it would be like Star Wars and prequell the trilogy!

In the "making of" parts of the matrix collection, the actor who plays the architect says that Keanu explained what the lines meant!

Keanu gives the most down-to-earth explanation of what happening. He seems the most comfortable in talking about the matrix from what I have seen.
"I think it is funny that she chooses Trinity"

Sometimes we get so caught up in the Neo Messiah concept that we forget that Neo was choosing Trinity above and beyond the whole human race. No surprise then that it is not until he loses that attachment that he is finally able to save mankind.

Maybe the symbolic meaning was that Neo gave in to his destructive side when he chose for Trinity?

I mean, love can make someone blind. Even so blind that they don't know or want to see that they are falling down into destruction.

Because of Neo choosing Trinity, Smith (Neo's symbolically visualized destructive side) had a chance to grow even further.

It was about Neo making an egoistic and blind choice and then opening his eyes to the destructiveness it brought just in time.

It's about a 'criminal' who sees the Light just in time and makes things right towards society with a self-sacrifize.

Keanu knows-- I can gaurantee this. The others most likely know, but I can't be too sure. I believe you can sometimes tell just by looking at a person, but in this case I look at one of the other movies Keanu has been in. Keanu has been in "The Replacements". "Bill and Ted" is not a good example.

Gee I hope not. I don't believe that what the Wachowski bros. intended, do you?

At the end of Matrix 1, why is the first song to play to play "Wake Up" by Rage Against The Machine? What are the politicis of Rage Against The Machine? Why is one of the Wach. bros. (sorry, I don't remember which) wearing a "Rage" tee-shirt during filming of Reloaded? Is this some sort of coincidence, or are the Wachowski bros. trying to "Wake Up" the masses? But to what? Again, think about what Rage stands for. Think axisofjustice.... but that's only the beginning.

JJ

P.S. Where did "Zion" come from? Anybody on this board ever hear of "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion"? Go ahead, don't be afraid, google it! Don't think too hard, it's just a coincidence, right?
