If I had a choice of picking any actor in Hollywood besides Keanu Reeves to be the next One I probably would pick Jet Li or maybe Vin Diesel someone along that line. I would like to know who other people wanna see or maybe Keanu is the only dude ya'll wanna see. (Keanu/Neo probably is the only choice)

If I saw Vin Diesal become the next One, I would cry of laughter. On the otherhand, Jet Li would make a fine actor. But then you have to realize this, Jet Li is known for his Martial Arts. People want him to be in these movies. That is why he is not fit for this part. I would pick Keanu Reeves out of anybody, he had the "look of this part", he did alot of training to earn this part, he basically had to work his butt off doing this role. Jet Li, would just have to memorize what techniques the director wanted him to do. Also, for this part - I would not go for a foreign actor. It would not fit in the film, Neo lived in Chicago, not China. Do you understand what I mean for Jet Li not fitting in for this part?

Keanu Reeves - If we see Keanu for the first time in The Matrix Movies, people will think he can't do Martial Arts (he is a regular citizen), which is true. He had to learn them - Which Tank and Morpheus helped him do.

Jet Li - If we see Jet Li for the first time in The Matrix Movies, people will think....he already knows Martial Arts in The Matrix, he just doesn't know he does. Get what I am saying?

No matter what you say, The Matrix Trilogy was made perfectly.

there really is no one else for this part. I'd assume as well, that if the Wach Bros did another Matrix installment. It would focus on a different aspect of the matrix, not the one.

He's the obvious choice, to reprise his role as the Kid and become the next one. The Kid is the only person known to have spontaneously rejected the Matrix without real world assistance, so it makes sense that if he jacked back into the Matrix, he might have some freaky powers and a lot of potential.

As far as a completely new actor, Sean William Scott comes to mind too. He's got the right look for the part and has some experience with mumbo-jumbo martial arts movies (Bulletproof Monk). He's known but not a superstar, which seems to fit better to play the character.

Jet Li is too well known. Vin Disel is too big; he doesn't have that everyman quality. Plus, I can't see Vin waxing philosophical.

I still think neo would be the one.

if they're making a new matrix movie, neo would still be the one. apparently, he will come back, at the end of Revolutions, the machines may be rebuilding him and putting droid eyes inside of his skull and making him part android part human. So yea, he'll be back. and about the smiths, if theyre making a new movie, they better start planning on making new enemies.

Yeah, I have what it takes to be The One Cool I got the looks and the enigmatic charisma except I don't know if I can act and endure months of being pulled around on wires.

Seriously now. If Warner Bros had any brains, you think they'd enrol Keanu in at least a few acting lessons seeing they stuck him in Kung-Fu ones for months on end Screwy I thought Keanu made a believeable Mr. Anderson in the first movie but his Ronald Weasley vacant expressions wore thin in 2 and 3. Come his self-realisation of his being The One, he needed to change his whole persona, something he failed to do Thumbdown I thought his subsequent performance took away the full potential of the trilogy (that and the fact that the sequels were merely eye candy).

In terms of choosing another actor, I would root for the unknown guy. Or if it had to be a famous guy, it'd have to be a versatile actor, like Johnny Depp. I would steer clear from the well-known action guys and wouldn't touch Vin Diesel with a 10 foot pole. Besides the fact that he can't act too well, I can't picture Dominic Terreto being a computer geek... Screwy

The Kid should be the next One, since Neo is basically his idol. But that won't happen, nor would I want to see it happen.

There shouldn't be any more Ones.

This is a bit off topic but where does everyone get off saying Keanu Reeves can't act. Did you see Point Break, Speed, and The Devils Advocate. These were good movies and in my opinion good acting jobs by Keanu Reeves.

I would cast Jonny Depp as the next "one." he is not an action star so you wouldn't exspect to see wushu flow from him. In fact, he should have a completly different fighting style.

Vin Diesel should be casted as a villian. Some sort of "sentinal soldier" inside the matrix.
