Yes! It's true!

For years I've been arguing and bickering and fighting with my friends about how stupid the movies were, and now I've finally found someone who shares my ideas!

It's so cool to see everyone defeated by the simple phrase: "no point in building the matrix, as a simple severed nerve connection would erase all need for such thing as the matrix"!

How could the machines have missed such a simple thing as this?

Anyways, cool site, cool thingy with the navigation (was stumped for a moment or two thinking this was all there was), very cool and fresh ideas, very cool suggestions here and there (merovigian as oracle, smith as the one), and I would just like to add something (don't whack me with a stick if this is old news):

The Matrix is based on a comic called The Invisibles written by an englishman called Grant Morrison. His friends were all over him saying what a great movie The Invisible turned out to be, and when he tried to sue WB for blatantly stealing his ideas and not paying him, he found that WB was the owner of DC Comics, which is the company he was writting for, and so had all rights to his books.

Keep on going, matrix-explained!

uh oh, someone else who claims to have writen the matrix.

maybe Grant should be added to the list of 24 people that are currently being sued over it.

...unless he wrote his comic before 1981.

it's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice

The Wachowski's wrote this based off a number of things. I dont know anything about "The Invinsibles" but I do know that The Matrix wasnt or isnt based off of that completely.

It seems like a lot of people are coming out of the wood work talking about they were the creators of the Matrix. If that's the case why didn't they drop those Matrix movies before the W Bros? I mean after the fact it seems alot of folk wanna take credit for starting the idea of the Matrix. Sophia Stewart is trying to take credit look I don't know the broad but if it's her idea why not make the film instead of waiting until someone else makes it and try to capitalize?

What if it turned out to be exactly 1% of the population that had a similar idea as the wachowskis, completely detatched from each other? Wouldn't that be a somewhat chilling thought?
