Hi Everyone,
Just to let you all know I'm off to my family in Surrey tonight(2am, motorways are pretty deserted then, and I can fly down!)
My family and friends are having a big Halloween Party, and I'm going as SMITH...
When I get back I'll have photos and I'll post them if you like...
Anyhoooo I shall miss you all, and be thinking of you all while I'm away...I'll be home for Revolutions....yipee!

Look man, you know nothing.... I'm a GOOD person but I'm not perfect, nobody is perfect....I believe in a higher intelligence and YES I pray, I just hate organised religion...I've searched all my life for answers and I'm still looking, I will never stop looking.
The only bad thing I ever did in my life was lie to my parents when I was a kid....but I was forgiven for that a long time ago....I'm basically a good person...You just don't know how to take me, it takes all kinds to make a world Stinkz, and you should accept people for what they are...I can be a little feisty at times, but that's just me.... I don't break the law, I don't mug old ladies and I treat people with the respect they deserve....

That's great that you consider yourself to be a "good" person. However... everyone does that. I'm sure that even Stalin considered himself to be "good." The reason you hate organized religion (besides the fact that you have boxed all religion into the same category) is that it holds you accountable to a higher standard than you want to be held. Looking to yourself will not help you find the answers you are searching for. It is only through trust in someone mightier than yourself.

I'm glad you admit to not being perfect... but do you really think that the only thing that keeps you from perfection is the fact that you lied to your parents when you were a kid?

When you say things like "I don't break the law, I don't mug old ladies and I treat people with the respect they deserve...." you are showing that you are basing your idea of GOOD on what others are doing. You can easily see the wrong in certain acts because you yourself have not done them. However, does the fact that you realize these things are wrong mean that, given the same situation as someone who had done these evil deeds, you would definately have abstained from doing them? Are you then innately "better" than someone who has fallen into temptation?
Just because I do not murder doesn't mean that I consider myself better than someone who does. I know that, were it not for the grace of God, I could, given the right circumstances, fall into the greatest of temptations and commit acts as evil as any man has ever done.

The main fallacy lies here... you believe that because you don't do what other people do, you are comparibly good. However... to be reconciled to God, it is not enough to be "comparibly good." God does not just take the "better half" of the people. He cannot. He is perfect. Therefore, no imperfect being can be reconciled to Him. It is only through His mercy that those who trust in His son are "clothed in Christ" and therefore worthy to enter His kingdom.

Christians do not claim to be perfect... but that doesn't mean we shouldn't strive to be. The fact that nobody is perfect is not an excuse to give up trying.

I can't seem to say or do anything good in your eyes ~It's a damn shame you seem to view me as such a bad person...
You can't really judge a person by their Matrix posts you know... Or is it something to do with Smith ?
