CHAPTER 8: FORESIGHT.

The gates of Zion opened as the Bushido approached and Ming landed the ship smoothly while Trax walked round and round in his room with thoughts about what he had just done and how it was possible rushing through his head, and now, like several times before he wished that he was back in his old ignorant life in the Matrix.

He asked himself over and over why he had this kind of power in the Matrix but he just couldn’t find an answer. He began to wonder what the Oracle had told Ming because it had to be something important considering the way Ming had looked at him.

But maybe it was nothing, it didn’t have to mean anything just because he looked at him. The whirlwind of thoughts stopped as Razor knocked on his door and told him that they were home.

He walked out of the ship and joined the rest of the crew as they walked towards their rooms. Eventually he had only Jade by his side and before she left him she hugged him hard and thanked him for saving her life. He lost himself into her eyes for a second and she kissed him and for the first time in a long while he was not bothered by anything, it was like only he and Jade existed. Not saying anything Jade let him go and they went their separate ways.

There was something that was so wrong after he got himself and Jade out of the Matrix. He stopped and put his hand on a pilar and felt the cold steel against his skin but it was like there was nothing there, reality had no substance and it scared him.

He felt exhausted and it was getting late so he decided to get some rest and headed for his room. He opened the door but before he went inside he got an urge to turn around and so he did.

He looked over to the other side of the huge hall and saw Neo walking by himself and suddenly from out of the shadows someone appeared behind him. Trax watched the man walking faster and faster after Neo who didn’t seem to notice him.

Trax thought it looked like Bane but it was too dark to tell. The man pulled out something from his pocket as he approached Neo and Trax was about to warn him when the man slowed down and Trax saw why as Link showed up. The man put the object back in his pocket and as he stepped out into the light Trax saw that it was Bane and he joined Neo and Link in their conversation.

Trax thought that Bane might of just been in a hurry to give something to Neo but it did look suspicious. He decided to stay up and keep an eye on him and he walked down and joined them. The four of them talked for a while and as time passed Trax noticed Bane getting increasingly nervous and frustrated and he appeared to be somewhat relieved as Link left them.

Neo was about to leave to when Bane pulled out a blade from his pocket and went after him. Neo turned around as Trax screamed but it was too late and Bane buried the blade deep in Neos throat and he fell to the ground. Trax punched Bane in the back of the head and when he turned around two more hard punches landed in his face and as he backed up Trax tackled him to the floor. He grabbed Banes head and furiously banged it into the ground until Link came running and pushed him off. Bane was motionless and they turned and looked at Neo who was bathing in blood.

People who came to see what was happening starred in disbelief at their fallen saviour. Trinity pushed herself through the crowd and her face turned white when she saw Neo and she fell down beside him screaming and crying.

Trax opened his eyes and felt his heart beating rapidly. He stayed still for a few minutes trying to convince himself that he was awake and that Neo was not dead. He eventually got out of bed and turned on the lights and he was relieved that he was infact on the Bushido and not in Zion. A minute later someone knocked on his door and when he opened it he had Razor in front of him.

”We’re home”.

Good stuff. I like how to added that dejavu thing. When Razor knocked on Traxs' door and said, "We're home." Pretty smart. You got me there when Neo was killed by Bane in the dream, I thought you've gone mad or something. Looking foward to more.

Is there another part before this about Trax?

Oh yeah I have written 7 chapters before this as you might have guessed by the title(duh ch all about Trax. If you have the time and if you want to, read ch 1-8 and tell me what you think and excuse the grammar and spelling mistakes I'm swedish.

Again, an excellent chapter, now i'm sad. Ive finsihed your fic so far, please write chapter 9 yip, cos u've elft it on such a cliffhanger! eek!
