I'd like to see anyone else's take on the Matrix, that is mythographical in nature. Restrict the referenced material to fictional works in the modern sense, as in Verne, Wells, Doyle, Howard even Lovecraft. Even the most obvious, "Cthulhu who lies dead but dreaming." I'd take as a start of a discussion. Please no classical injections that are so obvious, as in Greek mythography and Persephone, Zues and Demeter daughter kidnapped by Hades. I think we should all know by now Demeter worked out a timeshare with Hades so Persephone spent half the year on earth and the other half in the underworld.
