Oh yeah that's right, apparent loosely blased plagarism?

Its the whole McDonalds coffee too hot thing going on. It's all about money and greed in the end. If what was said is true, and she did in fact come up with the idea for terminator, why didn't she file for a lawsuit the minute it came out? I mean we're talking 20+ years ago. Why all of a sudden is she kicking up a fuss about it? maybe because she knew it would be better to wait for a trilogy or more plagarism to occur...more cash after all. Can u really plagarise a book which talks about someone sons saving the world, and what appears to be a large communist type movement? the pages i've read talk about the woman giving birth to neo. in the matrix neo's mother is not even mentioned. And when is he looked after for 3 & a 1/2 years? Also the fact that her name is not on the cover of the script is a little odd to me. How many authors have done that? Besides wouldn't that be considered fraud of some kind? I have yet to see a complete copy of this "third eye" script.

I suppose she thought up the bullet time, the matrix code, the agents with their perfect suits, the sunglasses, the hardlines, Cypher betraying them, sentinels, the red and blue pills, the architect, guns, exiles, the train station, scorching the sky to stop sunlight....she didn't come up with these. All she talked about is a man would save the human race from something. Yes ladies and gentleman, not unlike Jesus. The fact is her idea is not completely original. maybe they liked some of the things she talked about, but they didn't use her exact words, names, places, that sort of thing.

So I can't create anything and sell it basically, cos it's all been done before. Any new invention is based on current technology and improves upon it. Yet companies don't seem to be sueing for it. And when u think about it, these items are basically replicas of other items, they perform the exact same function. Yet the matrix only took elements. It didn't serve the same purpose, and is in my mind very different from the few pages I have read of the third eye.

I personally just think people will do anything for money if they can get away with it.

My words to sophie would be: "Did you direct the matrix? Did you decide to make a film from your work? Did you come up with the physical elements and effect of the film? The answer to these questions is no. You just didn't like the fact that someone didn't appreciate your work instead. The fact that no-one even knew your name until you decide to file a law-suit"
