We all have theories.
And some of us on this forum believe there's is the only correct one and everyone elses is wrong.
I think it's great and what makes this forum so interesting.

The Matrix is a trio of films that really makes you think.
Not in the Philisophical sense'but in a "Ok what the hell just happened" kind of way.

So there are only 2 People i think have the full picture and really know exactly whats happened and thats the
wachowski Brothers.

So now the trilogy is finished and they don't have any secrets to keep for Revolutions are they going to clear these things up?
Perhaps a lot will be explained on the Revolutions DVD?

Mirra's only use on this site is to get overly stressed and agitated. He certainly doesn't do anything else worthwhile. I've never read anything he's written and gone "wow, that boy has a point" and I very much doubt anyone else has - he doesn't make points, he jeers and it's all he knows how to do. Sad really.

I don't think the wachowskis will ever tell us what they really meant. Too many people would be dissapointed if they were told there interpretation was wrong and in many ways the matrix concepts are ambiguous.

If Mirra was told that the Wachowskis actually had something in mind when writing the movies other than making money think how upset he'd be. Doesn't bear thinking about it. Best leave him to believe what he wants to believe.

why should i fear or feel hurt by someone sprouting insults online? if he/she starts they start...helps get whatever they want out.

i agree with the post about being scammed into buying more merchandise. it shows the irony and the paradox of what the message was.

anyways, i dont believe the 'wachowski brothers' exist anymore. now, they may have been influential in making the first movie(some say they even stole material) but the other two were definitely 'hacked by agents'. the first movie stands alone by itself but the other two were nothing more than marketing tools, more mass propaganda and conditioning material designed to imprison more minds. warner brothers is a family owned 'matrix' corporation only interested in money which equals power and control.

Me, I believe that yes, they were out to make money, but they were also out to tell a story while they were hauling in the big bucks. And they did -- they told Neo's story, how the cycle of the Matrix was finally stopped. Part of the fan backlash as far as Reloaded and Revolutions are concerned more than likely springs from too-high expectations. I say that the first movie was by far the best... but Reloaded is by far my favourite. *shrugs* To each his own.

jeffshag - the actually irony springs not from the movies, but from MxO, wouldn't you say? ^_^ I don't agree with your opinion that the sequels were hacked. Yes, they could have been handled better... but they could have been so, so much worse. And considering the Catwoman fiasco and the Batman disaster-in-the-making, I highly doubt WB is out for money. If they did, they wouldn't have lost so much money on Catwoman and spent over ten years trying to pitch a Superman movie that destroyed everything that made him Superman. (One of the writers of a rejected script didn't know who Kal-El was).
