Has anyone read this book yet? I cannot believe the depth in which Jake Horsley examines and details the story of the matrix and relates it to the teachings and beliefs present day shamans like don Juan. Anybody read Carlos Casteneda and thought maybe there was a broader vision of the Matrix that I think is missed when trying to relate it to the rules of rationality we believe we are bound by? Also there is an author who, while may be a little much for most, talks about a more sinister enemy than the machines. He wrote a few books I have read and while I will take in ALOT more sources before I give credit to his findings. They are very good. They trace a workings of a secret reptilian society that farms humans as food and live inside of the earth. It sounds crazy, but when the facts he lays out are looked at with an open mind they are hard to refute.
The books are:
....and the truth shall set you free.

I think from some of the things I have read, that don Juan(sorcerer)
was able to do alot of the same things that Neo was able to do in the movies. From reading accounts in the books.

Also the recently deceased Terence Mckenna has done work in his lifetime to understanding alternate realities that may interest you all and spark some interesting conversation on what the movies could mean and possible inspiration outside of the apparent.

I've started to (a library copy), but must confess to being bored with it already. When the author starts quoting ideas like "the 10th monkey", I know that they're being intellectually sloppy!

definitely
some of the posts that I have had recently directly relate to some of the books. Also anything you read about shamanism or the use of DMT can be quite revealing. at least backing some things that I have read

we have all seen the movies and realized the message. there are some that have been on this path long before the movies came out.

my question is:what do you do to finally view the world in terms of non-objective reality and 'seeing' energy in its full scope and awe?

i want to find those who spend EVERY waking moment ,EVERY breath and EVERY step changing their life.
are there any true 'matrix warriors' or even ones beyond being just a 'warrior' out there?
i dont mean those that sit back, watch the news,do everyday things and OCCASIONALLY work on utilizing the 'matrix' for its true purpose.
are there ones out there that actually 'walk the walk' with no hindrances?

id just like to see those that actually pick apart their lives EVERY SECOND thru behavior modification,meditation,'stalking',etc...

Carlos Castaneda is amazing...
I read his books and they do give you a totally different perspective on our existence...

I remember, that when I read his last interview there was a phrase that shocked me at the time:

"God doesn't love, you, believe me"

At first I was in shock, then denial, now I realise that it is most likely to be true...

...Even machines can see that we are already dead...
