Hey, my first post!

This random piece is just my own thoughts, I hope it aint all wrong, and that if someone, somewhere reads it, they find at least one thing out that they didnt think of before.
I also hope that Im not repeating what people have already said (im new and dont have time to scour through loads of forums).
Before we begin, please excuse my excessive use of the word 'code' and 'Matrix'.
Neo is the One. Woohoo - big deal. All it means is he is the one with the extra bit of code in him. He is 'the remainder of an unbalanced equation inherent in the programming of the matrix.' Like Mr Architect says.
This Essay is about AI in connection with this film of ours.
What is AI? Well heres what I was told. Robots (AI) are machines with code & programs to control their behaiviour.
The Source, every machine in the real world therefore, must have code.
N.B If The Source/machines DONT have any sort of programming I am completely wrong about the rest, but I cant imagine a scrap of metal and wires and pointy pincers being able to 'think' to an extent. It's just what I'm imagining.
I think of the source as a large capacity computer, that holds as a sort of operating system like windows (but better, less error filled), where the program running is the matrix (The matrix is like a server for a computer game).
There are programs within the matrix program that handle many tasks such as when a guy shoots and dust appears in a computer game.
The source can Multi-task to control the machines.
There are programs in machines.
There is code in Neo which can be applied to the matrix code and to the other programs in the matrix (perhaps enabling him to go 'inside' smith). Can this same code apply also to the code in each machine?
We have to assume that the 'code' itself can be (or affect the) physical as well as computerised. This holds well with the 'plug it into ur brain' thing; the machines had found a way to link computer code and humans thereby enabling communication between matrix and human and vice-versa (or something to that effect). Come on, they cant just plug things in!
One idea of mine is that they enter an amount of code into ALL humans to make them compatible with the matrix, as a sort of interface which interprets human 'code' (senses, feelings) into machine code and passes the machine code back to the humans via the big things sticking into them. Like plugging a printer in and installing the driver. Neo gets a little more than he was supposed to.
Maybe the signals going to the humans are already in code humans could understand.
If they are only (human)chemical signals (therefore bearing no resemblance to the code of the Matrix) why should Neo's extra amount apply to the Matrix enough to bend its rules (if it is merely excess chemical signals)? More importantly, why should it affect physical machines?
In both cases the same result applies.
His extra code must be different code altogether from the human signals recieved by everyone. How else could he bend the rules?
If this is the case then the extra code is Matrix code! (Duh)
In the end it doesnt matter How he gets it, all that matters is the reason(nah, only joking).
The only special thing about neo is this 'matrix code', despite his title as The One, which means that the code must be the reason he can affect machines in the real world. It is generated by the source. If this affects machines also, then it would have had to be written/originated by one 'programming tool' - the only possible thing is the source.
Whoa, im not sure about this theory. The matrix code and the code that makes the machine's go is from the source?
If its written by the same source(pun) then it's plausible that one may 'recognise' the other. Imagine a world slightly in the future, where Ai robots are fairly common. You might have an AI - toaster and an AI - Kettle that is produced by one manufacturer. If the kettle walks (ok, so really weirdo future) over to the toaster it might have artificial 'eyesight' which recognises the toaster as belonging to the same company as itself.
Surely it cannot physically affect the other. But the sentinels and Neo seem to 'sense' each other! Something Computerised feeling something human where the only connection is code. This code could be a bridge between the real world and programs.
This seems to be the main point of the whole thing!
There is a bridge between physical and computer worlds - the very matrix itself is an example of this link. Another example is how Smith turns into Bane, how that little girl is from 'the machine world' or whatever.
But how can Neo See them? Is he seeing what a computer program sees when it sees other programs? Well, when neo beholds Seraph for the first time, he is all gold and shiny because he is a program and programs are made up of code. We can perhaps explain Neo's gold sight, then, by stating he is seeing/behaving like a program/code because the code in him is beyond the normal amounts normal humans receive, thus linking him to the machines to a greater extent. He sees 'like they do' : he sees the programs inside them. The fact that both programs in and out of the matrix are 'gold' could support this.
Programs written by the same manufacturer. My main idea is that this bridge that the AI has created may be the only reason for Neo being able to affect them physically. Neo maybe has the right code which lets him shut down the sentinels etc etc.
Another point in favour of this is that Smith wants to be free. He wants out of the matrix. How could he get out if he is just a program. Perhaps he can inhabit a machine and use his existing code.
Neo is also 'inside' the matrix but not plugged in after the sentinel electrify bit. His code therefore is in, the rest of him is out. He needs himself and the code to be whole. But wait, this makes the code an essential part of his being which also affects his consciousness. It also makes the code have the function of sending him to the matrix without plugs. Maybe he is connected with the source directly (which enforces the control of sentinel thingy) - the operating system. He might be like a reinstall windows disc.
The main point of this rant is: The source controls the machines with the same code or similar to the matrix/ or Neo is connected with the source. Either way it enables Neo because of his extra code to control the machines. It aint telekinetic (hopefully), the W bros dont believe in all that magical stuff in my opinion (yes its hard to believe). The magic in the matrix is explained using logic, and the prophecy itself is merely a lie.
Wow this thing is too long.
Too many questions without explaining much. Just another theory to throw away. He probably sees things in gold which dont or shouldnt have programs in them - thereby rendering this entire argument useless.
But the story does bend towards a link connecting machine and man. The councillor scene perhaps exemplifies this.
The Two worlds of Computer (programs) and the real world are connected via Code code code code code.
Jeez, I went on a bit, just for a film too.
I dont want to imply that what anyone else thinks is wrong, cause im probably utterly incorrect.
Theres probably loads of flaws too, but who cares if you are reading this sentence you've read the whole thing and thats an acheivement in itself.
