»My thoughts about the main page«

I found this site while searching for some explanations about the Matrix movies.

The main page of this site pretends to basicaly "explains" stuff about the Matrix movies, but actualy the first things we read are about this site autor's frustration about things he doesn't understand about the Matrix movies or thinks are wrong.

Even if English is not my native language, I want to counter some of the author's theories, btw I don't pretend my answers are the truth or are even corrects :

"And how did the Wachowskis decide to resolve this riddle in Matrix Revolutions?
The fans expected something....BIG.
But they got....Hollywood:

Neo: "Tell me how I stopped 4 sentinels by thinking it..."

Ahem, excuse me?

I don't see what you think is wrong with it, it's a good answer, sure not perfect but not that bad. Neo has access to the Source and the machines are supposly connected to the Source too. So he can manipulate them. The real question is more like, why only 4 of them, why not all of them ?

"No, the Oracle doesn't answer ANYTHING. She merely restates the question. She gives an answer like "Why do you ask?" or "Because you are the One"."

The Oracle is not here to answer to all your questions, she is here for a purpose, that Neo acts like the one and she also thinks that Neo already knows most of the answers. If she has to only say : "Why do you ask?" so that Neo does what he has to do then she will say it.

"I love the movies, and that's why I am angry. Something's different. I cannot feel them. It's not what the movie shows. It's what the movie does not show: The twists and the mind-puzzles!"

That's exactly what the Wachowskis brothers want, that YOU think about the possible twists and the mind puzzles! After all, don't you love these movies?

You can honestly say that would have been a better idea ?
Sure a good idea to make a matrix 3-4-5-6-7 but how boring and confusing.

The rest of the main page asks some interesting quetions but It would be great to have "the matrix (a bit more) explained" on the main page than this.

Practically EVERYTHING unexplained on that main page has been accurately reviewed and explained on these forums. It just doesn't seem to get updated (if what you say is still true since I just have the forums themselves in my favourites).

I agree. A lot of stuff the main page sucks.

To me it suggests that the author isn't that clever. (or he refuses to update it)

Questioning a million dollar blockbuster of a movie is rather silly.

The matrix is pretty much perfect. See it for what it is.
