»A comic story idea...«

This is a Story Idea I've been kicking around- tell me if it sucks or not:
title : Pirates of the Mainframe

timeline: After the Matrix- Before Reloaded

A group of pissed off kids, who have been awakened to the reality of the world's situation, decide to steal a hovercraft and enter the Matrix- but for thier own personal gain.

The group plans to pull off a series of armed robberies...
just because they know that in this truth, there are no consequences....

characters:
Calvary- the leader- a down and out street kid with an annoying 'hero' complex. His impulsively 'saving the day' has always gotten him into trouble.
'Crease- The Criminal- he's the guy who helps design the hardware
Dweazil- The Operator- kind of a whiny pussy, but the man behind the buttons
Mother- She's an unwilling accomplice and the ignored voice of reason
Swpyer- The Greaseman- the youngest @ 11 years old...Armed with a mechanical tail(swiped from a down-ed Sentinel) this saavy little thief moves like a monkey- (think Abu from Aladdin)
Rosenberg- the militant co-captain- she was a snobby little preppie bitch who was unsatisfied with the world around her...she found what she was looking for when she entered Zion- a Cause Worth living and dying for...too bad she fell in with these A-holes...

There should be a story about a rebel hacker who enters the Matrix on some mission and falls in love with a program henchman of the Merovingian (either sex for either part doesn't matter). And then the rebel hacker becomes an exile of his people and joins the Merv.
Eventually he/she has to find a way to get back in a pod and so there's some shady deals with agents.

What do you guys think?

I'm 2 steps ahead of you.
I have a LONG FanFic coming up
about a ship with a name I didn't came up with
one captain (the first potential of the 3rd round)
two hackers
one operator and crewman
part 3 of the story is about the captain that falls inlove with a programm. he turns hymself into a program too. then reload himself back into his body and then he manages to download her into a female pod body with the help of someone who knows what it is to love a program...

But how does he become a program? If I had to guess, it is something like in the movie "The Lawnmower Man," right?

And how does he get the program into a pod body? I know there's been a thread going around that all programs actually live in pod bodies (their shells) but I hope that most of you don't buy into that (I know you don't, because in that case the program would not have to find a body but only her own location).

I know the Wachowskis don't like to spoon-feed us the answer since there is no spoon, but you must nonetheless be able to provide a means for this to occur.

I will create a program character (named after the babilonian god the gave "anuma-alish" the gift of immortality according to the mith) that has the power to turn humans into programs. of course there will be another reason why he must turn into a program, but i dont want to "spoon-feed".

what's his purpose? what's his job?
how can his purpose\job help get a fresh empty-brained Pod female Body?

I'm hearing some really good ideas in this place. Can't wait to see the results should some of these brainstorms get fleshed out. Keep it up.
