Check this out: I was just watching "Back to the future" and guess what I noticed! The date dr. Emmet Brown (that freaky scientist) discovered time travel is November 5. (1955). And, as we know, November 5. is the date when Revolutions was released all over the world. Shocked Having in mind that Wachowskis were influenced by, among other things, whole bunch of previous SF, do you think that this is coincidence?
And, regarding the fact that characters are messangers of author's ideas, consider what Merovingian says: "Where others see coincidence, I see consequence!" Cool

There is no bullet as one in bullet-time!

Yes, I think it does have something to do with it. I did some research on Nov. 5 because of this post and found the following very interesting facts.

1688 - Glorious Revolution begins: William of Orange lands at Brixham. (A Revolution)

1838 - Honduras separates from the Central American Federation, weakening the confederation. (The independence of the humans)

1872 - Women's suffrage: In defiance of the law, suffragist Susan B. Anthony votes for the first time.(Going against everything, Neo goes to the Machine City in hopes to make a change)
