tying loose threads together...

i've seen some coincidental threads pop up together, and figured that now was a good a time as any to bring some stuff up.

THE ONE: the convention seems to be that Neo is the first One to take the left door. as stated before, it seems strongly ingrained in him to take the right door. but why? as the Archtect stated, it was his focused love for -

TRINTY: who was Neo's anchor in his humanity. her love for him kept him grounded in what he had to do. it's possible that Trinity's love for Neo was a seed planted by -

THE ORACLE: manipulating gently and over such a long time as not to be overt. it could be that she included some code that would make changes of some sort when Neo came into final conflict (as far as we knew where M1 is concerned) with -

SMITH: possibly affected by the cookie, has become the Many in opposition to Neo's One. it would appear that, if the assertion above that Neo is the first One to go through the left door, there would be no need for an Anti-One in any of the previous iterations of the Matrix. so why now? perhaps so that Neo has a bargaining chip when he confronts -

DEUS EX MACHINA: realizes that Smith is a menace, and that Neo is perhaps the last firewall. Neo uses this as his bargaining chip, and brokers peace. word gets back to -

THE ARCHITECT: who confronts the Oracle in the park afterwards and acknowledges her skillfull machinations.

i've made several leaps of faith, and because of these i'm sure that several board members would like to poke holes in this fabric woven by the several threads, so get cracking.

Nothing to add on this actually. I agree on it.

I am just still in doubt if the negative One appears everytime or just now.

yeah...me too

i think that the oracle was getting bored of the same old stuff and perhaps manipulated the situation to get the results we see in revolutions

Yeah, there's a lot of sense in this and something you put got me thinking;

Upto and including reading this post, I'd settled upon the idea that in each Reload of the matrix, improvements to the "One code" (as learned by Neo or whatever a previous one might be called) are reintegrated back into the source.

The above quote, then got me thinking about the idea that each time 'round new snippets 9of code are inserted as cookies, candy, whatever gradually upgrading the program in time for the reload.

I got to the stage of thinking that the final version (the one we see) is by now probably more cookie than man.

Then an odd idea hit me, what if it's not upgraded each time. What if it's simply reset. What if the reload is simply that - like reloading a save game when things don't quite go the way you want.

The instructions for each attempt are passed to Neo in the same way, but rather than a cumulative effect, it's just a different mix. Each time the Oracle tries a different cookie mix, a differnt combination of cookies and candies whatever.

This time 'round she gets it right and gets to play level 2. Her main character is knackered, but that's OK 'cos in a lot of games you get a fresh character on each level.

Nice job, Grendelvs. Thumbup I have no arguments at all.

You just described reincarnation perfectly.

You know, I never really thought about the "cookie," at least, not in computing terms, in the Oracle's kitchen. How thick am I? Gumpred It does make some sense... what other purpose could the Oracle's sweet treats serve?

Much to learn, I still have.

Unfortunately no one can be told what The Matrix is...You have to see it for yourself.

Thank you.

Of course I don't beleive in reincarnation any more.

I used to, but that was in a previous life. Very Happy

Didn't Merv's girlfriend persephone (sp?) also say It was only a game after she gave the keymaker to Neo?
