Ok, so the story goes on. Revolutions left us with a lot of questions, and now to continue the matrix mindset we are given the matrix online pc game. My question: what about the people who liked the movie and wants to find out how the story continues, but doesn't want to play the game, or who isn't able to play the game. There's a lot of movie lovers who doesn't neccesarily like pc games. I, on the other hand, won't be able to pay the fee and play the game so often, but I want to know what happens. What do I do?

Thats like me. This is what we do- we find out some other way.

We can always talk about Matrix Online here at Matrix Explained. Or maybe we might have a friend who will buy it and play it. Some websites might even tell us the significance of the game like this site did for ETM:

Hopefully the game should be good. But id still rather have another film.
It would be good to have the storyline continue in the game and then have a film made that follows whatr happened in the game, perhaps with cameos from important players (or atleast have their names mentioned)

Unfortunetly, it seems that the success of the game is already compromised. I read on their forum that they were planning to make the fights like a card game. It means that you're not going to fight directly but just watch your character figthing for you.
It's just a pokemon matrix...

Sorry to desapoint you, but I prove what I say :

"Players also don't directly control their fighter's moves. Rather fighting seems to be based on a rock-paper-scissors system where players choose their fighting styles from a pop-up control panel."

My cousin is/was a beta tester for MxO. He said the fighting was traditional RPG. (You tell them what to do, they do it.) Because that's all MxO is... an RPG. You go on missions, decide who you want to ally with, and decide what you want to do. So nobody should really be dissapointed with the fighting, what else did u expect from an MMORPG? And since this is the "Full Matrix world" (famous characters and all) shoved into a game, the fighting is only a small, significant but small nonetheless, aspect of the game.

Well, a lot of MMprog have real time fights, why would they not be able to do it too ?
However, the good point is that people won't fight just for the pleasure of stabbing, it seems that the purpose of the fights will be to find the truth about the Matrix.

So you can post in a decent fashion...

I was expecting some insults directed at others..I'm pleasantly surprised.

John Mirra still holds the title, you have a long way to go to become as qualified as Mr. Mirra Cool

So I posted like 400 times, on wich you can find maybe 20 posts maximum that were directed against people having a bad behavior (note that it was always the same guys) and now you turn that into "oh you can post decently" ?

I didn't see you complaining that when Fatpie or Aksha were mocking at other posters (yeah, better be good with the modo). Question yourself before expressing an opinion.

This game is online... right? No 1 player solo missions.. but you have to PAY in order for your game to work?

That's quite an expensive MMORPG... First the initial 50 smacks to the neck, and then a monthly refresher?

Wow...you must not know....it's that way with every MMORPG, because every months new downloads are available and you have to pay for those. So it's basically like an expansion pack without gettin up and going out to get it. Actually, that's exactly what it is....

Not every. Many are free. Thumbup

And you have to PAY again for the downloads? So it's 3 fees? the payment to get the disc, the payment to be able to USE the disc online and the third to continually update the disc you paid 4 Sado

Bill gates where are you when we need you!

The MMORPG's that are free are either unfinished betas, or crap altogether. And you don't have to pay three fees. The monthly payment covers that. So in a year, expect to pay around or about $170-first year $120-every year after that.

My life savings! NO!

You gotta admit that is a steep price! I'd rather to stick to my free poo than the expensive games.

Besides, all good games are on consoles anyway Bannermuahaha

damn. Card game?

dagnabbit. That will not do

the matrix is about freedom, so I should get the freedom to SAY WHEN IM GOING TO ATTACK. I mean, that makes it so that agents and strong guys are invinsible. and we know that they aren't, because trin killed one in M1!
