Golden rule of kissing
Did you notice that Persephone wants a kiss from Neo (and from Niobe and from Ghost [Enter the Matrix]), but blames the Merovingian for having been 'kissed' in the toilet (by the cake toilet girl).

Were you not paying attention? For one, the "Cake Toilet Girl" is the "Woman in the Red dress" from Matrix 1 - except she's in a pink dress this time. Could just be that they re-used the same actress, could be for other reasons. I don't really have a theory on it.
Another thing is that she blames the Merovingian for being "kissed" in the toilet, and that's exactly what happened. He was "kissed" (in quotes). If you remember her discussion about the lipstick he's wearing, he wipes his mouth and says it's not there, and she says "She wasn't kissing your lips, my love." and looks downwards, presumably at his groin. Stretch your mind for a moment, and think about it. The Merovingian wasn't getting kissed on the lips, he was getting head in the women's room. A BJ. Oral Sex. Most people would argue that a kiss on the lips between two people is much more innocent in the ideas of cheating than getting head in the women's bathroom. Thus, I don't see why you must argue this as a point that doesn't make sense, as it makes perfect sense to me. Persephone is not angry about the Merovingian kissing the girl on the lips, because that didn't happen. The girl kissed a few other things.

On another note, the characters of the Matrix are NOT "japanese-like", they ARE Japanese. They are the Japanese Katakana, one of the 3 writing systems used in Japan, and they are for the purpose of writing foreign words in Japanese syllables. Some of them are mirror-flipped, some are not. Also, some of the other characters are numbers and other things. Not all Katakana.

Another point is that I'm not fond of the few complaints i've been reading (reviews, web, and other places) about the "orgy" scene/ Neo and Trinity bedroom scene. Remember for a moment back to Matrix 1, where Mouse is trying to hook Neo up with the Woman in the Red Dress (Where Switch says "a digital pimp, hard at work"). Mouse tries to convince Neo to "go out with her", and says "To deny our own impulses is to deny the very thing that makes us human." This is what's being shown in this very sexual scene. These people are fighting for their Humanity, embracing their impulses, what makes them human. Showing off to the machines that they are human.

No way.
The woman in red is "Fiona Johnson"
and the cake girl is "Tory Mussett"

Well, well, about paying attention.... Shocked

Yeah, I know, but would programs argue like that, too? And besides she goes around and kisses Neo, Niobe and Ghost and Lord knows whom else...

The point I wanted to make is: She wanted to kiss Neo anyway (she already seem to plan to kiss him, when they are still chatting at the table) BUT uses the Merovingian's concept Cause-Effect as an excuse ("I was just effect, my love), while in reality she was cause.

I didn't mean the font. I meant the roles (characters): Neo, Seraph, Twins etc... they remind me of Japanese anime-stylish fights and persons.

Thank you, maybe I will write that somewhere on the site. Probably when I make a symbols/ numbers/ names section....
