Did anyone notice that the agent upon the truck, when fighting morpheus, had
his skirt blooding ?

now link that with merovingian sentence , when he sees neo bleeding. "see ? he is
just a man ..."

would the agents be humans ? I remember in 2nd renaiscence, one of the most
scary scenes was that that a machine (Apparently a leader) is giving a
speech for several men with dark glasses

"your flesh is a relic, a mere vessel. hands over your flash, and a new world awaits you. We demand it"

then he spread that mega-energy-explosion and the men are just pulverized.

What would be the agents at all ? former humans that has been allieted with machines ? Machines that turned somehow into humans ?

what would explain the blood in this truck-agent ?

Hmm, haven't seen ANIMATRIX.

But I myself related the bleeding Agent to the death/deletion of the Keymaker simply 'cause they're two programs that bleed. What caught me by surprise was that the Keymaker said that it (his death) was meant to happen. Does that mean that he was meant to be killed by the Smiths (which wouldn't make sense unless Agent Smith was always supposed to become the virus that he is now) or just simply by an Agent?

If we could read what was on the document signed with a barcode by the machine, we would know the exact details of the agreement made at that point.

And the leaders of UN seeking eternal life as the protectors (agents) of the matrix is not a bad idea.

good point. But he could have meant that he was supposed to die some other time,

Or, if smiths wouldnt have killed him, he would die anyway...

I don't think agents are human because: 1, The can take over peoples bodies they don't seem to be able to exist without a human host. 2, Morpheus tells Neo in M1, words to the effect of "because they are based on rules, they can never be as fast or as strong as you.." 3, They seem to have disgust for humanity, not like a human.
I think the reason the agent bleeds is because there is still a real human underneath him.

Thats a neat idea but I can't see it happening as far as this story goes as the agents, although being super-human in ability, are not immortal. Smith says it himself in Reloaded:
" I faced deletion, I knew what I had to do but I felt compelled to stay..."
Seems that if an agent (or any programe) is killed in the matrix their code has to return to the source, kinda like an afterlife. This surely means there is no immortality in the matrix even for agents (with the exception of Smith of course!).
Cool idea though.

Anyone who is not convinced, take a look at the online comics (on the official matrix site). There are a couple which deal with this very issue.

If that's the case, why does Smith (in the form of Bane) look so stunned that he bleeds when he cuts his hand up just prior to trying to attack Neo? I guess you could say he's testing the limitations of the new world he finds himself in but wouldn't it make sense that this is simply a completely new sensation for him; bleeding is something for humans, he is a program?

I don't think he was really looking at the blood, I think he was ... well, I don't want to say "enjoying" but yeah. I think he was enjoying the pain.

Although his host bodies could bleed in the matrix, his program probably wasn't programmed for pain. Now that he's taken over Bane, he can feel pain (and other things) for the first time.

That's just my opinion, though.

Perhaps Smith was sampling something that he could never experience before - Just as Persephone samples kisses, Smith is sampling the feeling of pain/bleeding.....

The blood doesn't drop. Only human blood flows and drops. Maybe that's the difference?

good point. Did also notice that the agent barely feels any pain ? The blood does not call his attention, but the cut tie (by morpehus) does. it is so strange...
