In the first movie, I don't get how he got out of the Matrix.

Was that mirror a gateway between The Matrix and the real world?

Any comments?

1) The pill Morpheus gave him killed Neo (just his Matrix body, not his real one).
2) All deads are automatically disconnected in their cocoons and flushed away.
3) Morpheus picked up his flushed away body.

The Red Pill didn't 'kill' Neo...
The pill was to disturb Neo's Input/Output signal,
this way, the crew was able to pinpoint his location in the 'farm'.

The stuff from the mirror "killed" Neo I guess...
(seen the simulatiry to Smith's 'takeover' in Reloaded?)

Neo had a Cardiac Arrest, induced by the procedure of the trace program, The red pill, the Mirror were all part of this procedure.

According to Morpheus:

This is one the most visionary sequences of the movie.

Cardiopulmonary Arrest, flat ECG line, weak or no pulse does not prove death.

The very same applies to the Hallway sequence, felt like dying, not dying.


No killing, no dying......
