I am a matrix fans. I have been reading a lot about matrix interpretation from many different sources and I found that sentinels are thoughts in the brain. That is why they are controlled by EMP (electromagentic pulse). Scientifically now thoughts are shown to be controlled by magnetic fields. The machines use human body as energy source (BTU - British thermal units). This is scientifically correct because human brain unbelievably consumes more than 50% of our body energy. NO wonder why Morpheus shows a battery to Neo.
Going to the source, where thoughts arises, one is able to overcome the power of thoughts. This is what is seen when Neo reaches the Source and surprisingly the sentinles stop attacking Zion. The source face is also shown to be made os sentinels.
This is the most convincing interpretation I ahve read so far. Have any guys read this book which explains almost all hidden meanings of the matrix movies. I would love to discuss. If you are interested follow this link to amazon.com and we can have discussion here.

Know what....I read the stuff and I gotta say....this thing really has potential.

Either it will be really off and completely stupid, or....it will be absolutely correct and captivating. Im hoping for the latter. But still, I've seen better material on the Matrix in these forums than on many Matrix books. Hell, we guys should write a book, heh?

And I see the author is Indian too....hmmmm.
