Fights too similar

Maybe it's just me, but i think the lobby fight in M1 is just wayy too similar to the fight in the entrance to Club Hel. If you look closely at all the action scenes in the trilogy, none of them really come close to being like another except for these two.
Maybe i'm just digging for gold when there's none there, but i think the similarities might have something to do with the fact that in both of the scenes the characters are fighting to save one of their own (Morpheus in M1, Neo in M3).

I dont think its an important conncetion, but yeah, what once Neo did for Morepheus, now Trinity and Morepheus do for Neo. You'll also notice in that scene Trinity does here scorpin kick and her little float kick that was so famous from the first movie. so, I think in part it could just be a sly little nod to the fans who have been there since the first movie.

This movie is the end, so they make a little tribute to the beginning perhaps/

not anything of big importance, but its an intersting little thing to notice.

speaking of fight scenes i think the part in revolutions when Trinity/Morpheus/Sefron are going to the night club to speak with the mirovingi.. and they are stopped by the body guards is frikken hilarious..

Bodyguard: Your not getting in here over my big dead ass

**KICK***

**CRACKED NECK***

**SCORPION KICK - ARM TWIST - POP POP IN THE CHEST **

move in... lol

that was such a beatiful scene

Bodyguard 1- You have got to be kidding me.
Bodyguard 2- Holy shit, its wingless
Bodyguard 1- I get it, you must be ready to die
Seraph- I need to speak with him
Bodyguard 1- The only way you're getting through this door is over my big dead ass.
Seraph- So be it.

I loved the Hel Club scene. The gun battle was sorta a homage to the first. Trinity doing her walk on wall and do the cartwheel while shooting at the guy and the slow-mo mid air kick thing. Even the music was similar. When the coat check girl wanted to take there coat, it reminded me of the first film.

"you have any metal items.. keys, loose change"....Holy shit. It was a good scene.

I think the lobby scene in M1 and the Club Hel scene in M3 were similar on purpose. I think they wanted to remind us of the first movie and how, like someone said, Morpheus, Trinity, and Seraph are doing for Neo what Neo and Trinity did for Morpheus. I loved both scenes but the one in M1 takes the cake.

I think the hel club scene is good, but to fully enjoy THAT fight good (along with the rest of the trilogy), youll want to hear it on like suround sound or big, loub speakers, like me, lol. its much more effective, cuz that fight was not as huge as the other ones, so you want to experience that one with as much real-ity as possible. my opinion, that fight was way to short for me to loove, but i do like it. to much like the first one for me to be like" that was sooo cool", when ive seen it before. but the meaning behind it, the fact that Trinity and morpheus are fighting to get Neo like he did for them, er morpheus, makes it more intense and worth it, pretty much for me at least. anyway, good fight, worth seeing little girly guys getting shotup, they look evil anyway, lol, and to friggin wierd. that fight with seraph before they go into the club was pretty funny now that i think about it, "so be it", THAT was funny. Seraph is pretty figgin awsome, the only way i think the bro's couldnt mess up their trilogy would be to make a spin-off just for Searph and tells the story of how he came to be with the Oraclr after being with Merv. Unless of course, seraph had a bigger part to play that should remain a mystery, which i myself doubt. i think hes jsyt awsome!
