»Sunglasses and Garden Eden«

The dark sunglasses/glasses: Light is knowledge--knowledge destroys. Think about the garden of eden. When Adam and Eve eat the apple and gain the knowledge of the Lord, they realize they are naked and are cast out from Eden. Satan is responsible for this. Satan is also known as Lucifer (the BRINGER OF LIGHT), he who brings the truth, knowledge, etc. Could the agents and and heros be wearing sunglasses to block the light of the truth? Or could these glasses be allow them to see past the light of lucifer. They are only worn in the matrix--when they're out of the matrix in the "real" world they dont need to be shielded from the light of the matrix. This can go on and on...keep in mind that MANY sci fi writers include unintended consequences and references, but most biblical references are intentional.

Another film note...the green light/blue light is produced by light temperature. Green light is registered on "daylight" film that is exposed under flourescent lights. Blue light is registered on "indoor"film whne it is exposed outdoors.

and Merovingian and Persephone dont wear sunglasses either... hmmm

the film thing is a bit wrong though. I mean, its true what you said, but they already said that they used filters to get the coloration effects you describe. And I dont think movie film is the same as 35mm camera film.

The color hues in the movies are on purpose. They even cut flowers and grass on the road to not have anything green.
