I don't know about you, but as I was watching yesterday "Littele Budha" with Keanu Reeves in the character of Siddartha I thought some things funny...

When Siddartha (Keanu) it's under the bodi tree and is being tempted by Mara (the enemy), the last "fight" is done against his image - his "negative", so to speak - that comes alive after being reflected in the water...

Siddarth calls this "negative" image - "The Architect"...

Then, as the movie advances, an Oracle is consulted to know who the next reencarnation of a certain "lama" trully is...

The door of the kid who's the protagonist of the story has also a number in the entrance.

This time though, the number is "602" (funny - Trin's room in the beginning and end of M1 was "303"=6/ Neo's room was "101"=2)...

I know the Bro's used other movies as well as religious threads as refferences, but as I was watching Keanu talking to his enemy, somewhere in the past, and calling him Architect, I couldn't avoid to laugh a bit...

Yes, there are lots of similarities between Little Buddha and The Matrix.

This is obvious because of how much The Wachowski's borrowed from Buddhism to tell their story.

The most remarkable similarity is Siddharta's path towards enlightment and Neo's own path. After all, Neo's character is supposed to represent him on some level.

... the Daughters of Mara (the Architect in the Movie "Little Budha") are five - the five first enemyes Siddartha "defeats" in his way to enlightenment.

Any similarities to something we know?...
