»why neo is the one, my reason to my belief of why«

some say neo is the one cause he jumped into smith, and there are many other reasons why, but here is what i think it is

in m1 neo is computer hacker/programer, and so he is used to cheating the system, useing back doors, or doin things that normal people can't on a computer, bending and sometimes breackin the rules of a computer

well if u look at it the matrix is just a high teck computer program, neo being his computer name forgot his name tomas anderson and became neo, so just as the matix is a computer program neo can bend or breack the rules, just like he did before.

But i would like to say that what you wrote is right, but only to a certian point. (ie in Neo's life). These would have been the things that he done up until the time when he became the one. (ie Fighting Morpheus in the Fighting sim, simular to the matrix. and the things he did inside the matrix when he freed Morpheus.)

Neo is The One, because he carries the code of The One. This is clearly stated by The Architect in Reloaded.

The architect says: "...allowing a temporary dissemination of the code you carry."

But what code is it? And how did Neo get this code?
This is not stated clearly and leaves much room for interpretation.

The reason for the code is given- an unbalance in the equations governing the Matrix. The system adds the remainders of this equation and this results in The One code.

Even the reason for the unbalance in the equations is given. But you already know the reason for that....

Hm,...the unbalanced equation is what causes the emergence of the One.
But where in the script is stated that the system does add the remainder of the equation and this results in the One code?

Just as well the "sum of the remainder" could be the accumulation of unfullfilled choices stuck inside the Matrix, which are "creating fluctuations in even the most simplistic equations", causing instability in the system and thus enabling strong minds to become an idea of, and eventually lift the veil pulled over people's eyes.

It is my believe that, if there is such a thing as the One code, it has been written by Neo himself, when he became the One.
I believe the One code is unavailable to the system until the One returns to the source and allows a temporary dissemination of his code, which includes his understanding, experiences and choices.

Why would the One have to walk the path towards "know thyself", if the code was there just like that?
